Service with a smile.

Upon arrival, the friendly hostess greeted us and brought us into the dining area as my wife and I chose to sit as we waited for another couple. We had a choice of tables and chose one in the middle of the room. When staff brought us water, he advised us that the table was a small four person... read more

It’s been several years since we dined at the Mt Ivy Café and after our visit on Sunday, it will probably be an even longer time until we return. In the past, this was in fact one of our regular places for dinner. Dined there many times and always enjoyed it. Then, new management, new staff and things went downhill.... More

We recently had dinner with friends, the restaurant was very quiet which was nice so we were able to talk. I had the Greek chicken which was good and my husband had Osso Bucco.H e said it was over cooked and burnt and he was disappointed. The lighting made it hard to see what the food looked like at our... More

I was there that nite as a customer , and Lucia was very apologetic and tried to give u a round table , you were screaming in her face !!! You were not very nice. The other party was loud but she has no control over that. The place is large enough to hold more than one party. You over... More

Dinner last night was awful. Owner was nasty. I frequent the restaurant often and had parties there but last night was just terrible and the owner didn't care. So I will not be going back. The owner said "she didn't know that a bowling dinner was booked for over 25 people at the same time I made a reservation for... More

We are regular patrons of Mt. ivy Cafe. The food is always delicious and the portions are generous. The staff is very efficient and knowledgeable. Especially worthwhile are the early-bird specials. Get there early on the weekends. It is a very popular meeting place.

After a matinee at nearby Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, our party of four headed for the Mt. Ivy Cafe, a short drive north via Palisades Interstate Parkway. A performance of Edward Albee’s “The Goat” left us with little appetite but much to discuss. The lure for dinner was the $15.95 Early Bird Special that includes soup or salad, entree, veggie... Went here for dinner and it wasn't busy. Great service and so much food I took most of my dinner home. The macaroni and cheese appetizer was amazing, it's hard to share!

A neighborhood gem that never disapoints. Whether a selection from the standard menu or special, the portions are hardy and reasonably priced. Staff is always accommodating and the owner is a sweetheart our families go to place.
