It isn't easy to live up to the crown of top 50 restaurants of the world ... But Dan Barber's Blue Hill at Stone Barns lives up to it each day . One can't say how many courses make up this experience ( would be a put down to call it just a meal ) , we counted 26 dishes... More

I attended a wedding there last weekend that I am still thinking about. We started in the lovely courtyard for the wedding and continued into the restaurant after the wedding for cocktail hour and then proceeded to the beautiful stone walled, barn loft for dinner and dancing. The ceilings in the loft had to be over twenty feet high. Afterwards,... More

Let me start by saying that the restaurant is beautiful and the service is flawless. The wine list is gigantic but the normal wines you see at a high end restaurant. Our meal lasted over four hours. Some items were gimmicky. You tend to like about 70% of what's put in front of you. Some of the highlights: pork and... More

I had the good fortune of dining here with a large group. We started with a tour of the farm and learned about how they grow their food and raise animals organically and sustainably. We then had a wonderful dinner. Every dish had a level of freshness that I've never experienced. Everything from corn, to beans, to fruits, you name... More

Blue Hill provides a complete culinary experience that is totally worth the price tag! It is so much more then just a phenomenal meal on stunning grounds. Staff is also extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions and allergies. One of our favorite restaurant experiences we've ever had!

We celebrated our 10 anniversary at Blue Hill. The grounds are beautiful. The food was extremely fresh and delicious. They just keep on coming out with plates and plates of food that are fresh, delicious and thoughtful. The only downside was the staff was really cold. From the receptionist, to the bar tender, to the 10 or so waiters that... More

There is quite a price tag for this place. For two people, with only one cocktail each, the bill, after taxes and tip, came to $700! Is any meal worth that kind of price tag? I’m still not sure but I think Blue Hill comes really close. They put so much thought and effort into making great tasting and nutritious... More

More than 20 courses and 3 1/2 hours later we walked out of the most memorable, once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience we've ever had. We discovered this unique restaurant and its inspiring chef Dan Barber by watching Netflix' Chef's Table and are fortunate to have been able to visit and experience it first hand. Dan and his team truly redefine your attitude... More
