I have dined at Bistro 146 several times in the past, but I have been away for about a year and a half and on my return to NY we went to Celebrate with the family. Bistro 146 has not only been consistent in their dishes but in the service as well. Chef Marcelo is always around for any questions about the menu. Food and service is always excellent. If you’re planing to dine at Bistro 146 I highly recommend to try their seafood sampler appetizer. The Angel Hair pasta with grilled shrimps is delicious, the trout is cooked perfectly, the Bronzino, the truffle risotto, as well as the filet mignonette. The desserts, the cobbler is amazing, paired with the gelato, or sorbet with very tasty flavors.

Lovely setting quite reminiscent of a small nyc theater district eatery. Old school white glove treatment by the staff, very attentive. I had the tuna tartar (divine) and my husband loved the butternut soup. Both of our entree’s were delicious and I’m still dreaming of the truffle mac n cheese! Chef Marcelo is very talented and earnestly wants you to have a wonderful experience..we did and we will return!

The food is excellent and the service is very good, So, what’s wrong? The decor looks more like what you would see in a pizza parlor than in a place that serves quality food, which this place does. The mailer de dressed like slob and when recited the specials (restaurants should always write these down), his accent made it all difficult to understand. And parking can be a challenge. If you come here, just focus on the food and you’ll be happy,

Restaurant specializes in fish dishes. Comfortable seating food is delicious and prepared as you like it. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Waitress are excellent service is excellent. Restaurant has a full bar. Excellent choice.

This is a diamond in the rough understated restaurant.
Thoughtful staff and new dishes and great dishes that are a staple to the many daily specials.
Will always want to return for flavorful unique delicious dishes.

I have been to Bistro a number of times. It is my favorite in Pleasantville, NY. I love fish and so does the chef. Every fish appetizer and main course have been excellent. The service is polite, efficient and delightful. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.
No matter what you order you will be happy and satisfied.

My husband and dropped in for dinner after being on the road for about 3 hours. The food was very good, the wait staff was pleasant and attentive . What made the experience not a total success was the smell and sticky floor. When we first entered the dining room, I smelled a sickly sweet odor of a cleaning product. We changed tables and it was less prominent , but still there. Also, throughout the place, our shoes stuck to the floor. My guess is that they mopped with this product and then didn't rinse the floor properly. I would go back for the food, but not if this issue was not resolved.

This is a total mixed bag. The food was excellent (Grilled Branzino with capers & artichokes. Manhattan clam chowder was mediocre. I got apple crisp with ice cream which was horribly over sweet.
Toilet was like going to truck stop. Down a messy hall with junk everywhere.
The middle age man who was our waiter dressed like a real slob. Jeans, shirt hanging out. Such a heavy accent I really couldn’t understand him.
The restaurant is decorated like an old pizza joint .
STILL THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD

The was the food delicious and the service efficient and professional. But what made it an even better experience was that when I made the reservation online, I put a note in to request a quiet table if possible because one of my friends is hard-of-hearing. Well, they put us in this small, cozy room that seats 6 and we have wonderful conversation while enjoying the terrific food!

Quaint little neighborhood place with excellent seafood. Not very handicapped accessible unless you get parking on the street. Friendly service and they are happy to make any menu accomodations as possible.

This place never disappoints! All dishes I have had to date have been amazing good from the paella to the sea food Trio, which is my favorite. Highly recommend this well priced and delicious restaurant when in the Hudson valley area!

Excellent seafood with perhaps one or two meat items on menu; very imaginable menu with crabmeat a specialty; full menu for lunch with salads and soups very good; beer and wine prices reasonable. Busy times parking tough with small lot in back; service excellent.
