Awesome word of mouth and it did not disappoint. Margaritas on point. Food was top notch. It was a nice surprise that it wasn't your typical Mexican Restaurant. We will define tell be back when visiting again. Highly recommend great for family, couples and friends.

Really good Mexican food with an awesome vibe. The front staff at our hotel recommended The Pepper. I wasn't sure because the name seemed like a chain name. We drove into town and saw this cute little building with tin ceilings and a brick walls. We were there much earlier then we usually eat, but we hadn't had lunch and... More

Great food and service. Our waiter Glen was fantastic. Margaritas are out of this world. A cozy spot in downtown Plattsburgh and in the summer it has outdoor seating.

Stick with their margaritas. The food is nothing special. Too much grease and red sauce. Sit outside if you can: it's cramped inside. Everyone raves about this place. I've tried it five times...they never impress.

Really the only Mexican place in town. Good drink specials and black bean soup is excellent. Stay away from the fajitas...disappointing.

The Pepper serves delicious Mexican food with options for vegetarian dining as well. The portion sizes are generous and the price is reasonable. You can go very spicy or mild, if you choose.

Ordered a margarita and a chimichanga (chicken) after a long, hot day of golf at nearby Duff Point Golf Resort. Wife ordered the taco salad. My chimichanga was a world beater - easily one of the best I've had. Wife enjoyed her taco salad. Good portion sizes, friendly service, and a fine margarita were enough to draw us back in... More

Home town Mexican at best! But their margaritas keep me coming back for more! Servers must be new because they forgot our drinks twice and completely forgot to bring extra hot sauce! The out door seating is quaint :)

Food is best described American Mex. OK among local limited options. Cheap different Margarita specials for every day of the week.
