You will think you are headed in the wrong direction but keep going because this place is worth a visit. Ate outside, which was excellent. A nice view and very pleasant. The Moscow Mule I got was a disappointment but the food was good and...the atmosphere relaxing.More

We were there for dinner buffet and a show. When we arrived there was a line for the bar. This was fine but a group of ladies who new the bartender cut the line to see the bartender that they knew. She was aware they...cut the line and laughed about it and proceeded to serve them . I probably would not write a review but in addition to this, the food was not very good overall. The corn was overcooked and cold, The pork was salty and lacked flavor. The piece of chicken I took had a large piece of fat. The rolls were fresh and tasty, the beans and mac and cheese were good. Also the chips, salsa and guacamole was very good. They were passing out brownies and stopped just before our table and never came back. This place has a lot of potential mostly because of it's location. I wish they could pull off a good meal. I have not been there in 2 years and heard they had a new chef and the food was better. Perhaps I was too optimistic. The only thing that made this worth the price was the show was fantastic!More

It's a little more than a dive bar but not by much. Hey look, I like dive bars. If you've come in after a day on the lake and you're looking for a cocktail and a bite to eat - awesome. The food is okay....Sweet potato fries rock. Service is hit or miss. Friendly but not fast. So great for adults relaxing at sunset with now place to go.More

Nice little place to visit with some nice views of Lake Champlain and good atmosphere. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was very good as well. The French fries here are amazing and the wings were pretty good too! I’d...definitely return to try out some more things on the menu and enjoy the view some more.More

i recently went to the turtle for dinner. upon arrival they said there was no outdoor seating available and there was clearly tables open. So they told me i could have a seat at the bar and order dinner. The bartender started us out with...a beer and i had to ask her for a menu. we decided on the pork tacos witch were messy and came with a pile of lettuce witch was quarter of the meal that was never eaten. I shared this plate. When the bartender brought it out to us she gave us forks and napkins and no plates. this became messy real fast. after i eat the tacos i was still hungry so i ordered the shrimp po boy. i waited patiently waiting to get the bartenders attention so we could get another beer. she was busy flirting with the boy at the end of the bar he was buying her shots and she was drinking on the job. so i went and found management and told him i wanted my order to go because the bartender wasn't tending the bar she was getting drunk and flirting. the manager only took the 2 beers off are bill witch was understandable the service wasn't the cooks fault.More

Lets discuss our experience at The Naked Turtle today because I am still in shock over our experience.... Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!! Tega thought the text the Naked Turtle sent to Bills Phone was for a table ready for us so Bill went and asked...the hostess as they thought they missed it by seeing the text too late (20mins. in)... Hostess sits us at a table the waiter comes for drinks then the manager AIDEN shows up wanting to see the text (which was shown to him) stating it was weird that he didn't see the name on there wait list (they texted us!!) that we were seated before someone else etc... It was crazy as his hostess seated us, we did NOT just take a seat at a table so the manager Aiden was out on the deck harassing us over a table that we were texted about making a public spectacle. Finally after a long time of addressing us in front of everybody Aiden leaves stating it was not a big deal we were already seated as Bill asked him if he wanted us to go back to the bar (although he made it a big deal by addressing us on his hostess seating us) and waiter takes our order. As we get done eating a woman comes form another table and says hope you enjoyed your table (her waiter told her we took the table before them) ONCE AGAIN we were seated by the hostess!!!!! SOOOO, that means staff at this place was running there mouth too customers about other customers (us) stating to them that we stole there table.... WE WERE SEATED by the hostess!!!More

We stopped into the Naked Turtle Holding Co for dinner. We had chips with pico and guacamole, wings, fish tacos, and al Pastor tacos. The Old Lady had ordered a hot tea and it was brought after the third request. The food was very good...with the exception of the fish tacos which was just 'eh' and despite the late tea, the service was very good. They made sure to follow Covid guidelines. Tables were far apart, people wore masks as they walked through, etc.. It seemed like such a fun spot and we can imagine what an entertaining place it must be after the restrictions end.More

I'd heard the place gained a pretty bad rep, but things have changed because the experience was great. It's huge space on the marina, and I forgot to have my friend show me around, but we were seated outside the main restaurant with a view...of the docks. The food: I wouldn't order Nachos again, but they knocked me out with an Asian chicken mango salad that was fresh and very tasty with Thai flavors. The fried Brussels Sprouts came on a plate as big as my arm and I could have eaten the whole thing myself. Good beer list. Waitress was a sweet girl and hostess charming. Very busy Monday. Hopefully things fully recover from COVID.More

Dining during the pandemic.... this restaurant does it right, following all the necessary protocol to make us comfortably safe. Food, service and atmosphere were wonderful for our weeknight vacation dinner. Looking over the menu, the mussels appetizer caught my attention as the ingredients offered a...new flavor pallet for me. I will say.... I was wildly impressed with the white wine broth that featured onion, scallions, garlic, tomato and a dash of brown mustard. OMG I wanna recreate this at home!!! I also ordered the steak tacos and was impressed with those as well, and my steak loving wife was equally impressed with her steak frites. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance was perfect shoreline marina beauty. We head toward Plattsburgh again this restaurant will be a definite on our dining list!More

Ribs were dry, hardly any meat, and should have been thrown away instead I f being served. It was the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. I left a note for the manager on my bill and he never called me. Roll the dice when you...go to this place. The cocktails and waitstaff were fine! The food sucked this time!More

The food was terrible for a few years and I had not gone back for quite a while! The food is very good this year. The cocktails were excellent, the waitress was excellent, the place was clean, and the seating inside and outside are nice....There is also a bar inside and one outside. I’ll go back!More

We had a nice late lunch here on the patio while passing through Plattsburgh. Our server Lydia was lovely and helpful. Burgers and fish tacos were really good. My sweet potato fries were best I’ve had. Not salty or coated with stuff. Just nicely fried....Washrooms were very clean. The place is dated and looks a bit run down. However the food and service makes up for this!More
