I've eaten here many, many times--both at their old restaurant on Bridge Street and take out from Cornelia St. The food is consistently delicious. They are great about answering questions and making modifications (I order gluten free). Highly recommend!

we have tried this restaurant twice, taking different dishes both times. The decor is simple. The service is friendly and the selection of dishes interesting. On both occasions, the dishes we selected were good, The eggplant dish was not only tasty and nicely spicy, its colours were lovely. However too much oil is added when cooking, which tends to leave... More

Good service. But the Pad Thai was only average. And then he put a sign in the window saying the restaurant is now closed due to an illness...turns out the cook that prepared our food was sick...ugh

This is my favorite restaurant in Plattsburgh. And, as a vegan, there aren't many options. Any of their entrees can be ordered either veggie or fried tofu and everything I've had has been perfect. We always bring our daughters ( also vegan) to Sawatdee whenever they come to town. Highly recommend.

I've never ordered a dish I wasn't crazy about from Sawatdee's menu. Mine and my mother's favorite spot in town to go for lunch when she visits from Montreal. Delicious and the owners are very friendly.

I've been to Sawatdee on many occasions. The honey duck is an experience not to be missed. Every dish I have tried has been excellent. Be sure to ask for mild spice the first time unless you are into REALLY hot spiced food. Not the Americanized version of spicy food. They can make it to your level and it all... More

I guess it's been a while since they moved, but our first time dining in their new location across from Knight Buick on The Strip. A little smaller than the former downtown location and a little tricky to spot, but once you do find it, plenty of parking esp. around back. Signs in the window say that in addition to... More

Recommended by a waitress in a downtown eatery we tried Sawatdee for a quick bite so we could watch the tennis afterwards. We had coconut shrimp and a Thai salad for an appetiser which were both great. My wife had the basil duck and I had the Bangkok Tom yam noodles. Portions were huge and all was freshly cooked. The... I always enjoy anything I order here. However, on the last visit, I was shocked by the server's behavior. It was the server with dreadlocks. I am in the service industry as well, so I could never imagine completely snubbing a table. She was very rude and clearly had a bad attitude. We ended up just walking out, as she... More

So there is a new Sawatdee restaurant in Plattsburgh, and we had the pleasure of dining there last week. This second version has a different menu, including a couple of gf appetizers (rooster rolls and golden bags) plus kim chee, as well as the usual favorites of Pad Thai and various curries. What makes this place special is the way... More
