A friendly neighborhood bar. Serves a limited lunch menu during the week and a fabulouse steak dinner on Saturday night, during the summer on the patio. No name on the front, just ask anyone in town for directions.

Thirsty's is the local dive bar that has been around forever. It's a fun, friendly place to have a drink and hang out. St. Patrick's day is always a blast!

This the best small bar in Rochester area, in my opinion. Great staff, very friendly patrons, awesome atmosphere!! Oh and Hungry's is right next door for great munchies!!!

Having been going to Thirsty's since the late 70's, and it has always remained a consistent watering hole on the east side of Rochester. No food (except on the grill at lunch), lots of draft beer, and great bartenders. Good patio and parking, close to the canal and hidden nicely in the heart of Pittsford Bring your own ambiance and... Grew up frequently visiting this watering hole. There is no signage in front of the buildning so may be tough to find. As time passes and I get older this place is less appealing but still a great hole for draft beer. After all the years attending this place I am not sure I ever consumed anything but beer at... I found the place to be foul. Most of the patrons were very very drunk and some appeared to be underage. There was too much foul language and use of racist epitaphs by the drunken louts. The bartender was rude and indulged the patrons in their bawdy behavior, the place reminded me of a bad stereotype of an Alabama red... More

We were introduced to Thirsty's by my cousin Peter who is a regular at Thirsty's. We had a fantastic time each time we visited. BC the barman should run a training school for up & coming bar staff so they know how to treat customers. What a guy, friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable, really gives the impression that he loves his job.... More

Early on Friday is adult happy hour--very casual and unassuming. Later the crowd gets college aged and makes you feel like you are out drinking with your kids--by 8pm you are ready to leave. Great place if you work on east side and want to meet for one after work on Friday, other than that, go elsewhere so you don't... More

The village of Pittsford NY essentially has two bars, on one side of the Erie Canal is the more expensive and pretentious Pittsford Pub, and on the other side of the canal is the unassuming, no sign out front, dark hole in the wall Thirsty's. Thirsty's is the neighborhood joint, where everybody knows everyboday, everyone is welcome, and you can't... More
