If you are driving around the Catskills and the Hudson valley, do stop at Phoenecia Diner. Great food from locally sourced farms, a full diner menu, good service and a nice ambience - very popular

We stopped here for lunch after our railway trip. Parking lot was full so we were concerned about wait time. No worries at all! Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! Burgers cooked perfectly and fries hot and crispy! Very clean also.

My son and I stopped by for a late lunch on a Tuesday on our way back from Bovina. Started off with I think was tap water which tasted like it came from the brook across the street. Son had the chorizo sandwich which he...said was decent with what looked like double fried French fries which were barely warm and soggy. I had the pimento burger with fries which tasted bland at best. Nice old fashioned diner look, very limited menu for a diner, pleasant waitstaff. Don't see us going back anytime soon.More

Food was good, atmosphere was excellent. We went on a Tuesday and they had run out of some items as they are closed on Wednesday. This was very disappointing.

WE decided to eat lunch here after see the place full every day. food and service are good but not out of the world. They work very efficiently and you won't wait more than 20minutes for a table.

Came with my wife for breakfast one morning. Place was hopping, but it looked like there was only one wait person (Mona) working at the time. She was moving quickly to all tables. Ordered eggs and breakfast potatoes and my wife had the yogurt and...granola. Both came out timely and were very good. Mona kept checking with us for refills of our drinks or anything else we needed. By the time we were leaving more workers were arriving to help with the customers. Mona was a rock star!More

4 adults and 2 toddlers came for breakfast/brunch the Sunday of Memorial weekend. We opted to eat outside. It allowed the boys to run around a bit. Small line but ince ordered food came surprisingly quickly given how many were there. Got a mixture of...things and everything delicious. Pancakes, hash, smoked trout, eggs. Portions good sized. If in the area It's certainly worth tryingMore

Came here at the advice of my daughter. The trout Pinot was terrific and they cook to order. Their fries are crispy and well Made. But a large menu but something gur everyone. Services the entire area with wide variety of locals, visitors, hunters and...passer through. A bit Bucky but very nice low key. They are pleasant snd hippy at the same time I personally loved it. By far one of the best diners we have ever visited! Arrived early on winter weekend, parking lot fills up quickly with skiers on their way to the slopes, but tables turn over fairly quickly. Breakfast was solid all the way around, fluffy pancakes, taco...skillet, breakfast sammies, all amazing! The lunch and drink menu looked interesting and would have liked to come back to try out some different options!More

Yes ,that might have affected my view of the diner. In addition,I did not think this restaurant was a great spot , even though in this area there are not a lot of diners to choose from.

I was here before the new outside tables were complete and ate inside but I think it highly unlikely they would have a problem with the dog outside. However you would need to check with them.

They're very accommodating and whilst it may say one thing on the menu, the chefs were more than happy to modify the dish to my liking. I'm not a mushroom fan either!!
