Over 15 minutes before someone came to the table to take the initial drink order. Another 15 minutes to take the meal order and another 55 min to get our food. Absurd. Aweful service.

Stopped by for a late dinner, everything was perfect! Fabulous ravioli, and do not miss the Spumoni! Friendly, efficient service. Not to be missed in Peekskill.

Was back home for a couple days visiting. I just wanted some real good, not greasy Italian food. My long time friend who I haven't seen in years suggested we go here. After living in the south for almost 25 years, to me, I thought...the food here was Amazing!! I had the Veal Parm and it tasted exactly like I was expecting it to! My friend and I sat and enjoyed our meal and some time actually together as opposed to on the phone. Never once did I feel like we were being rushed and we were the last ones to walk out. I will definitely be looking forward to having dinner there again.More

My Dental Society had our study club meeting/dinner in a private room. They could not have been any more accommodating. Kelly made the planning and execution very smooth. The food was very good and plentiful. They let us have the dinner special that included wine...or soda, delicious bread, appetizer, salad, meal, dessert and coffee and even brought out fruit and zeppoles. Everyone enjoyed this placeMore

I've been to Taormina's on 4 separate occasions, and have never been disappointed. Once I also attended a wine tasting that they had hosted, and the spread they put out was fabulous. The hot antipasto, calamari and baby artichokes were a delicious antipasto choice. The...chicken, fish, veal and pasta dishes are all tasty generous portions. The service has always been wonderful with their friendly server staff. They were also very accommodating when we were seated on Father's Day with a short notice reservation with a packed restaurant. The food is great, and their prices are reasonable; parking is never a problem. Also, perfect for people visiting the area via Metro North as Taormina is a short walk right around the corner....enjoy a delicious meal!More

I met some friends here on a recent warm evening in May. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant, which is a benefit. The main dining room was dated looking with dark paneling and the tables were quite close together. The air...in this dining room was still and warm. If you want a cooler and less crowded atmosphere, ask to sit at a table in the room where the bar is. It would have been nice if they either turned the AC on or opened the doors to the outside, which may have brought in flies but it would have given the diners some fresh air. We ordered off the price fixe menu. While this was a good quantity of food for the price, there was nothing exciting about it. It was very ordinary - the salad was ordinary, the appetizers were decent but nothing exciting. Of the four of us that had dinner that night, three agreed that it was not a place we'd want to return to. One of the ladies thought it was a good place and she was satisfied with her meal. Dessert was included. I got carrot cake to go. The waitress said that the desserts were not from Homestyle, which is a great bakery right across the parking lot, not far from Taormina. The desserts were from a bakery in the Bronx. The carrot cake was not bad but not particularly exciting either. We would have been better off going to the ice cream parlor next door for dessert, next time. Ordinary food in a stuffy, dated room. Not bad, but not memorable either.More

We had my son's baptismal reception here and the food was amazing. Party package prices are very reasonable. Kelly was very helpful and on her toes. She even found a way to put a message on the cake for it arrived blank (human error/miscommunication with...bakery). She even set a table area for the kids to do some arts and games that I brought for the kids not to get bored and for the parent to enjoy their lunch/dinner.More

We had lunch at Taormina Restaurant in Peekskill, New York after we had been to see some relatives who had lived there a long time ago.. The restaurant is very quaint and has the friendliest waitress I have ever meet. She helped us choose some...of the finest Italian food I have had in a long time at any restaurant here in NYC. I had the Chicken Martini that was excellent. The place is not a NYC style restaurant but the atmosphere, friendliness, and prices make it well worth the ride from the city. You were made to feel at home the minute you walked in and it got even better from there, especially when the food was served. If you are in that neighborhood, you have to stop in and treat yourself to a fantastic experience such as this one!More

Dinner for three. Despite making a 5:30 pm reservations we were running a half hour late - not a problem. Upon arrival the hostess was waiting for us and we were seated immediately. My son and I ordered the $21.95 meal which included an appetizer...and desert. I had the artichoke hearts and he had the ravioli, and both were great. The little rosemary breads that were served were so good he asked for more. My son and his girlfriend at chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan and said it was yummy. I had the veal francese that was perfectly lemony. We all had cannoii's for desert that were to die for. Our waitress was super friendly and I would definitely recommend a trip here. Only 12 minutes from Van Cortland Manor where Blaze is held every fall.More
