We had a great breakfast here with friends. I'll add my very positive review to all the others that you'll find. There were six of us at the table and there was a good deal of tasting going around and I'll sum it up with saying that everything was as tasty and interesting as can be. The service as excellent,... We had a pleasant dinner with the kids at McKinney. The restaurant is cozy and the service impeccable. Food was very good. I had the trout and my wife had the lobster risotto. While not in the menu, they prepared pasta and chicken nuggets for the kids so everybody was happy. The fresh baked bread was great too. Not cheap,... More

I didn't have any of the food here, but dropped in for a cup of coffee on the recommendation of my friend. There is lots of tasty looking cakes behind the counter but I just filled up at Vinny's, so that was a no go. There was a steady stream of people coming in on the off hour, which is... More

I've reviewed this place before and have always left a good review but this review isn't good. I arrived early for our 6:30pm reservation. The hostess at the front told us id be a few minutes and to sit at the bar and have a drink. . . which we did. 35 minutes later I asked what was going on... More

This past Saturday was our first visit to McKinney & Doyle. Thank goodness that a good friend recommended this wonderful restaurant or I never would have known about it. The food is OUTSTANDING!! We had wonderful Diver Scallops, fried Calamari and Filet Mignon all cooked to absolute perfection!! For my cocktail, I chose a "Midnight Sour", it was freakin' delicious... More

My dinner was tasty but my husband said that his was disappointing because he ordered a mixture of shrimp, chicken and beef and it was too dried out; also, the portions were small. The restaurant compensated for this by adding a salad to it. However, I found the prices were appallingly high for a restaurant in this area. If it... More

We stopped into this little cute place. We only had coffee and a milkshake but the bakery and settling were very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a proper restaurant joined on which looks very characterful and a good place to eat. Recommended.

We go here every Sunday for brunch and for dinner on special occasions . Everything is home made from bread to desserts. Menu changes with seasons. The staff are all great and personable .There is a bakery on site. Do try this restaurant and bakery with all kinds of coffee drinks . You will become a regular!

The wine list is extensive and the menu has some fun offerings. I had a seasoned cod served over a chick pea and pumpkin cassoulet that was delicious. One friend had a steak dish and my husband had the pork chop with a tasty sauce served over red cabbage.

The quest for a fine culinary experience will lead you to extremes. Extremely expensive, extremely far, extremely bizarre, extremely extreme. If your plans include Pawling, NY, or anywhere near it, make a reservation at McKinney & Doyle. For a fair price (not cheap, mind you, but fair) you will experience some of the finest cuisine in the Hudson Valley (dare... More
