Had an amazing dinner after waiting over an hour to be seated (much too long for young children!). Wait staff amazing, informative and very helpful with ordering off the family style menu. "House" wine very good. For the long wait, food was OK. With other amazing Italian restaurants available, not sure I would travel that far, and wait that long... More

Among the best NY Italian food in the city. All meals are served family style, and payment is cash only (so you've been warned). The atmosphere is open, with the tables all in one large room. There is no parking lot, so street parking is a must. We ordered the baked clams, linguine in white clam sauce, and veal don... More

The food here is good. I wouldn't run back as im not an italian food lover. Menu is limited, i do have to say everything is soaked in oil. The psta dishes are like soup with oil broth, feel like this place is starting to go downhill a bit. Bring lots if cash!

This is probably one of the finest italian restaurants in NY. Old style home italian cooking and a very informal atmosphere. You'll actually find later at night a card game going on with the staff and chef but don't let that discount the quality of this incredible italian cuisine. Old school italians eat here and every dish on the menu... More

We were a group of 6. We went to dinner on a Sunday at 5PM. We didn't have to wait for a table, but the place was pretty packed. If we went in later, we definitely would have had to wait for a table. We ordered the Salad, Baked Clams, Linguine White Clam Sauce, Linguine Marinara, Beef Braciola, Broccoli, and... More

We have total 12 people. It is to celebrate the mother's day. The restaurant is very crowded and we wait for about 40 minutes. Food is great, we didn't order anything that is not good. Wine is not really that special but highly recommend the coffee. Dessert is good, too. Price is a big high though, USD70 per pseron pre... More

Lived in Ozone Park for 30+ years, past restaurant but never went in. Finally did and was not impressed. No atmosphere. Waiter was good. No menu (per say), just what on their board. Items seen on 'regular' Italian menu they did not have. Food rich for my blood - otherwise the food was okay. Had chicken dish & their stuffed... More

As far as Queens Italian eateries go, Don Peppe's (aka Don Peps) is as good as it gets. The first time I went to Don Peppe was on my 16th birthday. My best friend was dating one of the waiters and he comped us the meal. After that first meal, I was sold! Many moons later, my family and I... More

I've lived in OZ for 44 years, but haven't had the chance to dine in Don Peppe's until Saturday night. Gotta say it was worth the wait. Place was PACKED but only waited about 25 minutes. The dinning room is nothing special at all and looks like it needs to be updated in bad way, BUT! you're there for the... More
