Food Allergy friendly! They have a dedicated fryer for the French fries. The server was amazing. Not sure of his name, but assured us that he would take care of things because he has nieces and nephews who have food allergies. He was awesome! We had the smoked chicken/rib combo and it fell off the bone! The sauce is a... More

I always love coming here. The food is excellent and the staff is usually friendly. Be prepared to wait though. It's usually crazy busy.

Never have understood how they haven't expanded to any other locations! They have it down to a science for sure!

Long standing family owned restaurant. Well know for their bar b q'd chicken but their ribs are my favorite. The warm bread is to die for and they have a great salad bar. If you are in Oneonta must try Brooks.

We ordered the chicken, ribs and pulled pork and shared family-style for dinner. The pulled pork had a great flavor and wasn't greasy at all. The ribs were falling off the bone and glazed with a delish bbq sauce and were so good we all had seconds or thirds. Chicken was cooked perfectly and was very tender and moist. They... More

Well, the food while plentiful, was clearly left under a heat lamp. The ribs were like you'd get at a "free buffet". The pulled pork, beef and chicken were all dried up. The only edible stuff was the skin on the chicken. The meat was dry to the joint. I got the combo platter. The sliced meats all tasted the... More

We were in town for the Baseball HOF inductions. Haven't been to Brooks in 15 years. Took friends who have never been. We all enjoyed the chicken and ribs. The cole slaw and both white and red bean chili were great. It's a local institution and a must visit when in town.

Cannot figure out why this place is so popular. Big portions of cheap low quality food. Passed by this place a few times over the years because of the wait time. This time we were able to get seated and served in good time. Server was nice and food came out quickly but it tasted awful. all of it and... More

Our family saw this on a television show; so, we decided to stop while in the area. Wonderful smells on the grounds from the smoker. The property has a general store, a "bottling" line you can watch, an outdoor area, and grounds to stretch your legs. The family story is also very interesting. This is a true Americana road trip...
