We stop here for lunch when passing through whenever we can. The sandwiches are freshly made and will take a little while to get to your table. It can be crowded with locals which gives it a nice ambiance. The Orange Cake is amazing! I willingly break my WW diet to have a taste of this heaven!

Service is warm and friendly. Sticky buns are fluffy and of course sticky. Get there quick. The can run out because they're so good. Breakfast portions are huge but not unmanageable. Be careful you might want to eat everything.

To get to our camp in the Adirondacks, my family has been driving through Olmstedville for several decades. I was so happy to see that after The Sisters' place had closed (another fantastic spot with fresh baked goods) Lil Nony's opened in it's place some years later. I was even more pleased to learn that the current proprietress was actually... More

food was good quality and decent quantity, not overly huge but just right for a big feed before we hiked or went over to Schroon Lake. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here (but across the street is Owl at Twilight which is worth a special trip) but they have good take out bakery items and great sandwiches... More

My wife and I found ourselves in Olmstedville at lunchtime. Fortunately for us, the folks at Hornbeck Boats up the road recommended this delightful bakery/restaurant. My wife had a cup of the excellent tomato with Gouda soup and half chicken Caesar salad. I had the soup as well, with a half pastrami and swiss on marbled rye sandwich. Everything was... More

Great place to get doughnuts, misfits (misshapen dough that is sold by weight, and microwaves back to life even a week later!), and the Adirondacker is a breakfast fave!

Lil Nony's is off the beaten track...unless you're traveling to Newcomb or Schroon Lake...but it's worth the detour to Olmsteadville. With two very basic small dining rooms and a porch, the family-operated restaurant/diner serves ample breakfasts, lots of coffee, and home-made baked goods, especially fresh, light, deep-fried doughnuts. Get the Adirondacker breakfast: pancakes, eggs, meat, home fries. It will keep... More

This place is just fantastic. The service is great, and the breakfasts are classic -- exactly what you want. And as other reviewers have mentioned -- the baked goods are awesome. The best part is the value. For what you pay, you're really getting a quality breakfast. My recommendation is 1. The cinnamon raisin break. and 2. The "heap o'... More
