We lost the only exceptional cuisine in this part of the Adirondacks when the original owners sold this place back around 2012. In its current incarnation, the 'ripe' tomatoes in a salad are hard and sour, a bottle of chilled wine is plunked on the table without an ice bucket, and a key lime pie is drowned in an excess... We actually came here two nights in a row, as we were staying about 50 paces away at a local B&B in the area. The 1st evening we sat in the main dining room, which in itself was very nice and pleasant. The service was friendly and efficient and the dishes were I'd say "pretty good". The following evening we... More

Four of us visited the Owl on June 28 as it was a special place to go in the past. This time we were greatly disappointed first off we were given bread with special spreads which were very nice. We got some drinks which came out after a few mistakes but were good after the waitress ended up making them... More

Mark Nazigian, the owner of the Owl has done an amazing job creating a calm and beautiful restaurant, especially the screened-in porch. The food is amazing!! The Owl is our anniversary dinner destination year after year!

Had dinner Memorial Day weekend. Food and service were great. Tried some of the new additions to the menu. They were delicious. Mark and the team are doing a great job.

Went last year and had a wonderful dinner, place reminds me of the dirty dancing movie, the steak was large, and delish, first time I ever had that entrée and I loved it! The owner really knows what he is doing and I hope to come back again.

Mark the owner talked me into having something I have never had: baked clams. He converted me, am now a clam fan! In the past month I have had lamb in 4 different restaurants in 4 different states. Tonight the lamb was by far the best of them all. And the spicy marmalade accompanying was beyond expectations! Have another flight... More

we were so lucky to find this place open the other night and experience this trendy little restaurant. Gourmet food and cool location- super good wait staff. I had the best martini I have had in years. We also sampled the 1968 port for dessert-it was on a sour note as this has been opened too long... you need to... More

My wife and I have eaten at "The Owl" for years now. When it was owned and operated by Rich and Jo it was a treasure in the North Country. You'd be met at the door by staff in crisp attire and guided to your table. The staff, although dressed a bit formal, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great bar,... More
