The café is conveniently situated within a seductive collection of outlets for vendors of assorted antiques. Having completed our purchases there, we headed for a fairly busy eating area, where we were seated promptly, offered menus and orders for drinks speedily, and served without delay by a friendly and attentive waitress. We opted for haddock chowder for one, celeriac soup... More

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with two different dining sections as well as sofas if you are just looking for tea and cake. The service is always friendly and the food is often average (but good average) and occasionally there is something really really yummy. There are aisles and aisles of antiques to wander through to work up an... More

Dropped in for a snack after a visit to centre, excellent quality sandwiches, efficient friendly staff BUT to charge £3.75 for 12 chips is a scandal, no wonder the waitress said we would need two buckets

Dropped in while at the Antiques centre, and had a very nice freshly made Brian and Cranberry sandwich. Very welcoming friendly staff and generally a nice comfortable place to drop lunch menu looks good, and there was home made soup on offer, which my partner commented was very nice., along with a cheese, tomato and onion relish sandwich, served with... The main courses and desserts were good and tasty, service could not be faulted, we felt the dining room was on the cool side and this took the edge of the occasion.

We have visited this cafe / restaurant several times but only ever for a light lunch. This time we met up with family for a 2 course lunch. Great friendly service and a menu that caters for everyone. I had the haddock chowder which was a huge portion and tasted beautiful with loads of fish. Other members of the family... More

Invariably after wandering around the antique, collectibles and other retail offerings on site you most definitely will want to sit down and enjoy a meal or a snack to recharge your batteries. On my last visit we opted for the smoked haddock chowder which was delicious and the chicken stroganoff. I'm a great fan of chicken stroganoff so was looking... More

My husband and I have visited Café Circa on numerous occasions and have not once been disappointed with the food, atmosphere and service provided. It is an ideal lunch location for when family and friends are up to visit us in the Dundee area. Each visit, I have chosen the soup and sandwhich option, it is so fantastic that I... More

Maybe we are missing something here, but to us this is a mediocre café in the middle of an antiques centre with no views, charging inflated prices for food and drink. We thought we had nothing more to do than walk in and grab a table but their policy is that you have to wait to be seated, not a... More
