I bought a voucher from itison which was for any two breakfast items from the main menu. I had the full breakfast and my Mum had the salmon omelette. Each dish was served hot and portions were large so make sure you are hungry!! Staff were very friendly and the cafe itself was very nicely decorated and comfortable. After breakfast we had a good wander around the retail areas which was enjoyable with lots to see and choose from. We will definitely return and recommend.

Thought it would be a tiny cafe but was very surprised how big it was. Lovely buzzing atmosphere. Food was fabulous and the service was great. We had a lovely waitress called Stephanie who catered for our every need. I chose pate for my starter, however it came with oatcakes. Being gluten intolerant they suggested an alternative of gluten free toast instead. It was delicious. Would definitely go back. Maybe pricier than some places but didn’t lack quality.

Very pleasant lunch. Restaurant was busy and staff were stretched but speed of service was still acceptable. Food was nice but the large fish soup at ÂŁ12.95 was a bit expensive. Quite filling but it's still just soup with 6 or 7 bits of fish and some veg. Overall a nice place to go for a change.

Food excellent, service first class. Under social distancing conditions the whole experience was very well organised from being shown to our table, the ordering of food through to the payment of the bill. We felt very safe.

I was there during the week with my mum and we had delicious minestrone soup (served with beautiful bread - light and fluffy with a fabulous crunchy crust) and we shared a ham sandwich. To finish, we had a cappuccino and a pot of tea. All the staff were welcoming and friendly but I'd like to especially mention our waitress Lucie who was so warm, friendly and helpful. Many thanks for another very enjoyable lunch! We will look forward to our next visit.

A group of 7 of us enjoyed a relaxing tasty Sunday lunch here. The lady on the phone was really helpful and accommodating when I booked.
Service was excellent. We ate from the 2 course set lunch menu and all our choices were freshly cooked. Good vegan choice too and plant based milk.
There was no rush and the waitress was very obliging when sorting out our split bill.
It was good to browse the quality shop afterward too.
Highly recommended

We go here all the time and I recommend all my guests who stay with us to take a trip out to this fabulous place. We had the bavette steak sandwich which is so tender and succulent and has a scraping of blue cheese mayo which is not strong, and caramelised onions, gives this hot ciabatta sandwich a nice moistness. It’s simply delish! Staff are so friendly and at the moment they are adhering to government safety measure and going above and beyond the requirements. After our light bite we had a great time wandering through the antique stalls, and the food shop. We always come away with something!

We enjoyed an extremely tasty and very filling full Scottish breakfast at Abernyte. The breakfasts came out hot and freshly cooked. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive but not overbearing, leaving us to eat our breakfast in peace. Well done and keep up the good work.

This cafe services shoppers at the Abernyte antiques centre. It offers a good selection of well prepared food and drinks.
Suggest you go and book a table when entering the centre- you can shop around the dining time and it will save you disappointment by jst turning up and finding it full. It is , rightly, popular

Visited with elderly parents , one in wheelchair. We were put at a huge table that wasn't wiped. Eventually a waitress came with a cloth and gave it a half wipe after my dad had started trying to do it himself.
The table was far too big for our group of 4 so seating was awkward. We all had soup & crusty bread. The soup didnt seem homemade - smooth blended with a sweet flavour, more like a tinned heinz soup. Bread was thin sliced seeded which was ok but not the chunk of crusty bread expected. We've visited Abernyte antiques shop many times and always love it. This was the first time we thought we'd make more of an occasion of it and have a lunch too. Unfortunately it will also be the last.

Stopped in for coffee. Asked if they allowed dogs, and got a lovely welcome and a little cup of treats for our dog.
The menu was so good we decided to have lunch and very enjoyable it was. My Daughter loved her vegan burger, my other daughter her macaroni cheese and myself the steak burger, it was so tasty I took a carry out burger home for my husband.
Staff very efficient and friendly.
Will definitely be back

This was our first visit to the Antiques Centre and we took a chance on finding a table at Cafe Circa after having wandered around all the units. Very pleasant restaurant, great to see the provenance of the food and to see just how local so much of it is. We both had soup - he had the beef chowder and I had the cauliflower soup - and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Really good quality. Coffee was good too and I had a bottle of the local cider, which I’d have bought more of from the shop but there were none available sadly. Felt perfectly safe and everything was nice and clean, good to see people sticking to mask wearing.

Arrived shortly after midday for lunch. Staff were immediately helpful showing us to our table and taking our drinks order. Menu was extensive and for lunch was extremely varied. The young person waiting on our table, Morvenn, was very polite and efficient with nothing being too much trouble. We ordered a variety of sandwiches, soup, pate and steak with chips all of which were excellent. The surroundings were also very pleasant and spacious with hygiene standards extremely high. A very nice way to spend the last day of the holidays.

Excellent dining area, lovely staff and very nice lunch. Cream of potato and watercress soup with bread, pea risotto thoroughly enjoyed. I had Arbroath smokey in crepe. Lovely, tasty sauce, the pork with fresh veg and mash. Another tasty sauce and beautifully presented. Nice coffee too.
