Daikers has gone through some major renovations in the past few years and it is probably one of the nicest waterfront restaurants in the Old Forge/Inlet area. The food is decent, not great, but to be honest, you aren't coming to this place for the haute cuisine as much as you are for the view and the drinks. Pretty decent... More

Amazing location on 4th lake. Truly a jewel with an amazing deck and view. Comically bad service as long as your not in a hurry. Brutally frustrating if you are. Frozen food served slow. Management should be embarrassed. This place could be a never ending gold mine.

Beautiful June evening, hopping restaurant on a gorgeous lake and a varied menu equals a great Saturday night. You can arrive by boat or car, or in the winter, snowmobile. The place had young and older couples and families, so Dailers was for everyone. The fish sandwich was a very generous piece of fish on a toasted roll and served... More

We were turned off before we even got to the hostess station by a sign they have posted telling you they don't serve fast food so go away if you don't want to wait for them to make your food. WOW! Customer Service at it's finest?? Probably not!! They should visit Paul Smith's College and maybe get some hospitality pointers!... More

We are local (w/in 2 hours) so we visit Old Forge a few times over the year. We went to Daikers for the first time ever this May and WOW!!! We had a large group - 7 total - they had huge tables and booths - tons of room - indoor or outdoor seating - fun atmosphere and breathtaking views... More

we went in early evening with a party of 7. we were only patrons plus a few at bar, waitress seemed very disinterested in serving us. as we were only people in establishment we should hav got top quality food and service. waitress was unwilling to address an issue with draft beer, and when food came out, 4 of 7... We always manage to visit Daikers for at least a cocktail when we visit Old Forge. Since we had a dinner reservation for later in the evening, we decided to have a small snack in the afternoon to hold us over. We ordered the "jumbo wings" to share, extra crispy with the sauce on the side. Can't say I have... More

There is an amazing view but not impressed with the food or service. When we were seated it appeared that our waitress had too many tables to cover. I ordered the potato skins which I enjoyed during a past visit. This time the kitchen overcooked the cheese on the potato skins. I requested a second batch. The second potato skins... More

Five of us stopped on a Friday evening for dinner. We all had the fish fry and all of us thought it was delicious. Service was good. View of Fourth Lake was outstanding and they have a large deck in the back that would be great for summer cocktails.

Stopped here for dinner one night with friends (party of eight) and we were turned away. More than half the tables were empty but they had a "waiting list" for the tables which they planned to 'seat' ... their explanation was: not enough employees / staff available, too short-handed to run at capacity, so they simply were not using more...
