Is this the best restaurant in Old Forge? It might be. Old Forge is actually blessed with quite a few great places to eat, and the excellent ones are excellent in different ways. But if you're looking for an evening of truly magnificent food in an atmosphere that is classy but not fussy, this is definitely the place. I've had... More

I took my wife out for her birthday on August 11, 2016. This little cafe/bistro resides in a small building that does not give a clue to how good your meal will be. Five Corners started out doing breakfast and lunch and then transitioned to dinners only. It was always good but now the food is as good as it... More

I just dined here with girlfriends last weekend when we were all in town for our annual girls weekend at camp. I recalled how exceptional the steak was that I had here last year, but wanted to order something different. My friend and I split garden salad which was so beautifully presented, fresh and wonderfully dressed. We also split the... More

We just spent the weekend up in Old Forge and was recommended to this restaurant by our motel owner Nancy and we were very happy! It is a diamond in the rough, delicious food in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We started out with appetizers. We ordered the grilled peaches and burrata with what they called speck ham (reminded me... More

I am by no means a food critic, but I do know delicious!! Everything from their homemade bread to desserts is a dining experience you won't find many places. Their appetizers and entrees change each season, keeping a few standard favorites...yet with a different sauce or side. At Five Corners Cafe you will taste combinations that put them in a... More

This is a chef owned and operated jewel tucked away in the Adirondacks. The food is wonderful, the staff is very sweet and the place is adorable. Prices are a little higher than others around here but you pay for quality. Unusual dishes, unique ingredients and unbeatable consistency in everything. Portions are on the smaller side so if you're looking... More

A great small restaurant at the busy corner in Old Forge. Open 4 days in summer, and weekends in winter. Family owned and run. Kathy and Paul are always there -- Kathy out front and Paul is the chef! Great menu with lots of choices. We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal here.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at 5 Corners Café this year. We both had their rack of lamb with potato-fennel salad, asparagus, and rhubarb marmalade ~ absolutely fabulous! For dessert we had the homemade strawberry short cake with real whip cream. The service was wonderful. The setting was perfect with local art work on display and an Adirondack... More

Small place so it’s hard to just walk in. I believe they buy a lot of local products, family owned by locals. Unique dishes and if you want to dress up a little-makes for a nice evening spot without people running in from the beach
