The Muffin Patch used to have one of the two best omelettes in town. Actually, the one at the Muffin Patch was probably the best, but I always had to wait longer for it because it was so hard to get seats. Well, the good news is that there's no wait any longer. The bad news is that the omelette... More

After waiting close to an hour for a bad meal of mediocre food the owner had a fight with an employee that included profanity and threats. All customers heard. Had to take my young children outside and went in to quickly settled bill. Wait staff was embarrassed and apologetic. Prior to the fight we heard owner talking poorly about customers.... More

I understand that the Muffin Patch has new ownership but the new owners don't seem to know how to make an appealing breakfast. We tried it two days going the first day was a fluke. I had a ham and.cheese omelet and it was greasy. Rye toast was thick cut, but soggy in the middle. Wife had poached eggs which... More

This is possibly the worse restaurant I have ever tried to eat in. We had a macaroni and cheese that was acceptable, a calzone that was tasty inside but burned black on the bottom. Also had a grilled cheese sandwich that was served cold and with 7 cold French fries. The worse meal was a BLT with onion rings. The... More

The Muffin Patch was always one of our first stops for breakfast on our annual trips to Old Forge. I have always loved their Bananas Foster French Toast...Much to my dismay-it was very clear that the recipe was not the same as it had always been. Very pricy dish with plain caramel sauce and cold bananas-not pleasing. The server told... More

We ate at the Muffin Patch two days in a row. The first day around 7:30 am and the second day at 10:30 am. Both days we had omelets which were delicious. My husband had the Meathead which was packed with sausage, bacon and ham. I had omelets with various veggies and sausage. There were plenty of home fries and... More

Went for breakfast as we have done after weekend of camping for the last 20 years at the Muffin Patch This is not the Muffin Patch it used to be....asking for syrup when you order pancakes, asking for refills on coffee and tea, cold home fries are not things that should happen, service was below average as was the food....
