A bit off the beaten track (that is, Route 12) a few short blocks down East Main Street is a vintage grocery/mercantile store that has been renovated into a restaurant that feels homey and elegant at the same time. Upcycled oak tables, vintage photos and tools, and fun art work add elements of comfort and delight to the experience. But,... More

I found the Bohemian Moon on Trip Advisor, and it is as good as everyone said. I met 5 friends here for lunch on June 6th, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. It's an original. Charming ambience, very good service, and delicious food. Parking lot next door.

My husband and I wanted to try a new and different restaurant in Norwich, and had heard of Bohemian Moon from friends. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted with our visit, and look forward to many more. Everything about this hidden little gem of a restaurant was incredible, from the professional and friendly staff to the intriguing ambience to the... More

Food is amazing here! The menu is always featuring in-season items and has something for everyone's taste. Friendly staff always make you feel welcome. They usually have talented local live musicians performing every Thursday night at 6:30. There is a bar along the back wall, but the place is classy and family friendly.

Excellent service. Eclectic & wonderful food. We went on an off hour & there was hardly anyone there. The building the restaurant is in historic & beautiful. Well worth a visit.

With a planned trip to the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich, I researched restaurants on TripAdvisor to find a well-rated café-style place for lunch near the museum. Bohemian Moon fit the bill. It did not disappoint. From the red brick exterior and wrought iron railings with various moon shapes to the hardwood floors inside, it had appealing character. The... Stopped in today after touring the car museum. Looked it up on TripAdvisor beforehand. Met every expectation that we had. Started with a great potato leek soup, followed by a special house salad with fried green tomatoes and mozzarella, as well as my friend had an open faced rueben with beer braised corned beef. wow. And we each had homemade... More

Bohemian Moon was a little surprise tucked away in Norwich. The decor is interesting, in an old brick building with old photographs decorating the exposed brick walls. The food was excellent , with a menu that changes weekly and capitalizes on seasonal produce. The service was friendly and efficient. Not super fast because each meal is made to order. Order...
