Very cool hip wine bar on Main Street. Great spot to stop in for a quick drink or an extended tapas meal while in the town of Northport. Came here for the first time last weekend for a few glasses of wine and had a...nice time. There was an awesome guitar/singer preforming while we were there and the whole crowd was into it. Wine was pretty good overall and the waitress was very helpful; she would also let you sample something before getting a full glass. Overall a great spot to check out if your in the area and feeling some wine! Cheers.More

We recently had our wedding at the wine cellar and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lindsay, Molly, Alex + their team were accommodating, high energy and went above and beyond for our event. The food, catered from Salted. on the Harbor, was...outstanding. The wines were raved about for days. The space was absolutely stunning (and customizable for our event!). If you’re considering WC for a private event, run, don’t walk. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you, WC Team!More

Being vegetarians and having gluten issues, there aren’t many restaurants that can accommodate both. This place did have some choices so we opted to have a light dinner here. Arriving here at 6:00 Was the perfect time as we were able to choose our table....The front tables by the window are the perfect spots as you can people watch and be away from the music and other patrons. The wine was good as was the warmed Brie with walnuts and jam. The Mediterranean platter at $16.00 was overpriced with 3 stuffed grape leaves, Some feta and 3 greasy mushy spanakopita. They ran out of the gluten free flourless chocolate cake but the peanut butter chocolate fudge brownie was delicious!More

This place is okay. The food sucks and the service is terrible. But, it's the only decent wine place in like a 15 mile radius. So, why not?

I’ve been doing this place since it opened; here and there. There something that keeps bringing me back, but not for more than 1 or 2. The wine selection is boring and unexciting, so Im usually a hit and run customer. This place draws a...local friendly crowd which radiates through the local musicians and familiar faces. It’s a unique venue.More

This is a great place for Wine lovers, and first dates! huge selection of wine and craft beers, it's a great atmosphere and is popular so seating is tough, but they have live music and the staff is accommodating in trying to get you seating,...I love that they outsource the food from other restaurants, so you can chow down on Maronis spaghetti and meatballs, and drink great wine! Creative marketing, love this place..More

Knowledgeable servers help choose the perfect wine for your taste. Small plates complement the wine, or you can order in from nearby restaurant. This includes Maroni's famous hot pots! Brilliant business model. Live music rounds out the experience. Get there early for a table.

Stopped here prior to seeing 1776 at the John Engeman Theater. We absolutely enjoyed every aspect of this venue. We chose 3 different wines to drink and loved each one. They offer 2 oz pours so you can taste a number of wines. We selected...3 cheeses and two meats to start. It came with bread, olive oil with balsamic, almonds blanched, coated with olive oil and salt, with delicious gerkens. Then had a small pot of Maroni's spaghetti and meatballs. Just fabulous! Add on great friendly service and you have a home run! Highly recommend giving it a try!More

Music most nights (one or two guys, usually acoustic). Wine and beer on tap, plus many bottled wine and beer as well. You can order some small pizzas or tapas. They also have local restaurant menus which you can order from and they bring right...to your table. The place looks cool, rustic wood walls, paintings or photos displayed from art from local artists, mid 20's to 50's crowd for the most part but all ages would be comfortable. Only con would be the noise level when it's a full house.More

Since they changed it over a few years back, we have really enjoyed it. It does not have a full service bar but the wine and beer selection is very good. they prepare a tapas menu and you can order regular food in from about...5 other local restaurants. They do have live music as wellMore

They be the only wine bar on the North Shore, but they are very good. A wide range of wines for every taste and some good beers, too. I like the cheese plate, though the "flatbread" is bit microwavey. Yu can also order food from...restaurants and have it delivered to the wine bar, a nice park if you want dinner with your one. Very popular with locals. Music on weekends.More

I've visited this location 10-12 times since its inception. The wine selection is just "okay" with many young wines offered. It's not bad for an after dinner drink (If you can get one?). Not a TV based environment, so NOT a place to watch sports,...but that's actually part of the charm. You actually have conversation! On a down note, many of the bartenders have a somewhat anti-social personality and create an atmosphere like they are doing YOU a favor when serving food and drinks. Last night, i sat at a half filled bar for 10 min without being offered a drink; I left without a second thought. I wish the staff had more personality that would lend to a more friendly atmosphere. I've given this place more than a fair chance but when you feel a bad vibe from the bar area, its usually a sign of much bigger issues. I guess I'm old fashioned and like to have a good time when I head out for food and drink. I won't be returning.More

Nice selection of appetizers and wine. Fun atmosphere to hang out, talk and listen to music. If you are really hungry there is a selection of restaurants that will deliver to The Wine Cellar.

Well, yes. Most of the food is from other local restaurants so you can choose what you like. They also have a nice cheese board and you can skip the bread.
