My family and I tried the Hideaway Grill last night. The host and server were all wonderful. It was a busy night and everyone was working hard. However the food was very disappointing. Not one diner in our six guest party really enjoyed their meal...exceptionally. For starters, my side dish of green bean almondine and the spinach from my spinach Florentine was floating in oil/butter. I get that it has to have a little bit strain that before plating. It was very unappetizing. Here I thought that I was picking healthier options, lol. The other issue was on the "kids menu", it is stated at the top that all meals come with fries and a drink. My daughter's penne came with bread sticks and no french fries. She was disappointed and when I asked-the server stated that all the meals but the penne got fries... Well, not according to the menu. I double checked. The rest of the meals were "okay". No one was really wowed by anything and we won't return to the Hideaway GrillMore

We stopped in for lunch because of the 4.5 stars on this site. My wife ordered a spinach, quinoa, strawberry salad. She was brought the regular spinach salad which is entirely different. By then, the menus were gone and we had no idea that there...were 2 spinach salad options. That was the first misstep. Then as she tried the salad, the bacon was soft, greasy and seemed to be undercooked. She tried more dressing because she hates sending stuff back and that made it even worse. So, she sent it back not realizing that it was the wrong salad. The waitress offered to get her something else but she said no. The first round of abuse was bad enough. Also, the waitress said she would take it back to the kitchen and made it sound like we wouldnt be charged. Well, we got that assumption wrong too. So, 3 bites out of the wrong salad added $10 to our bill. I had a huge fish fry with a few sides and the sides were okay, fish had almost no taste. And they completely forgot the tartar sauce I requested. So overall, not a great lunch and pretty sure I would have to drag the Mrs there if I wanted to go back.More

This is a small restaurant. The staff was great. The food is phenomenal. I would highly recommend this place for dinner. The waitress was knowledgeable and explained the specials. I had the bbq ribs and they were so good. Definitely worth another visit.

Very attentive staff, great atmosphere. We both ordered dilets that were perfect! Cocktails were great as well! Will definetly return

We loved this restaurant. My husband had the filet and said that it was AMAZING. I had the seafood platter and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from Venice Italy). The service was great and fast. The ambiance had...a family feel to it. Loved it!More

Orderr the d prime rib for three. Two were someone decent and one was horrible. Returned it and it came back worse. Had to ask for horse radish and the sun ju never arrived. Waitress kind impertinent to the point of being impatient. Ended up...w ribs in lieu of steak which were mediocre at best. All food was Luke warm. Last trip thereMore

We’ve been coming here every weekend for the past couple of weeks to enjoy your fish fry and some drinks and our quiet time together however tonight was terrible and they handled it very badly my husband’s fish fry was wonderful but mine was broiled...it was very fishy and it was gross they however did not offer to do anything other than give us 10% off because I ate some of it and for the record I was starving that’s why I ate some of it and I didn’t want to have to wait for another one but we will not be back againMore

Going out out to dinner with friends and they suggested the Hideaway Grille. Based on the name, sign and building, I was not expecting anything more than average. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was excellent, with enough room between tables that you...could have a conversation without hearing everyone else's. The menu listed enough to please anyone. I had a hard time deciding, but since it was a Saturday, I decided (as did the rest of my group) to get the prime rib special. I figured I could get other things on any night, but only Saturday for the prime rib. I ordered it prepared medium rare and that was how it was served. My one regret was that I had ordered it cajun style which I feel took away from the taste. Although I like cajun, I guess prime rib is not meant to be served that way. Don't misunderstand, the meal was still delicious and I ate every bite, just for my taste it would have been even better plain. The service was professional and efficient. Our drink glasses were never empty and our meals arrived at the table timely and hot. I am looking forward to another visit to try one of the other menu items.More

Hideaway grill is a warm, friendly, high quality date night or drink place. It is well appointed in the dining area and the lounge is nice but relaxed. The food quality is outstanding, with a varied menu of steak, seafood, pastas and regular specials like...prime rib. I had the prime rib special and it was perfect, while my wife had swordfish that was outstanding, topped with crisp onions and squash sage ravioli. There are tons of side dish options to suit any taste. The have. A creative beer and cocktail menu. What really stands out is the service. From the hostess to our waitress To management, serve was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I give the hideaway grill five stars!More

The French onion soup was salty, the cheese had melted into one glob and the chef had served it with the bay leaf still in it. My strip steak was so dry and tough that I needed to use a sawing motion to try to...cut it. I ended up leaving it uneaten. The accompanying potatoes were Luke warm. I cannot believe the inferior quality of the meal I I was served.More

The Hideaway is a great place to go for Happy Hour and Dinner. The bartenders and wait staff are all friendly and the prices reasonable. It is a nice comfortable atmosphere with delicious food. We love their Friday Fish Fry specials, they have different choices...and prices along with plenty of other dinner selections. Thy food is plentiful and always hot. We keep coming back because it a great place to go.More

Dinner here with a friend was very good. No problem getting a table or parking. Second time. Only wish would be for vegetables.
