We got to Fira a few hours before sunset, but weren't ready for dinner. Assyrtico is in a very busy location for watching the sunset, but luckily the restaurant wasn't that full. The atmosphere is cool and relaxing even though there are mobs of people outside. Yes, it's expensive, but it's right in the middle of the tourist area so... More

Overpriced for average food. Offered Bread and water then charged for it. Kebab shop lunch today was better quality and taste.

We found this restaurant by chance and we were glad we did. We went for lunch and their zucchini balls were so yummy. The next day we went back for dinner and we were not disappointed. Service was good and will definitely dine in this restaurant again when we visit Fira.

Near the cathedral and so quiet and peaceful. It feels like some neighbor's patio. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Great choice for hot weather. Very good staff.

An enjoyable lunch with several creative menu items. A different approach than the usual on Santorini but not over the top in pretentiousness like it's sister restaurant up stairs. Very nice wine and beer selections.

Lovely staff, lovely cocktails - the Italian way is a must try. Have been in Europe for four weeks. Decided to go for something a bit more casual so picked the gyros. Absolutely blown away. Marinade on the chicken is to die for, bread is like nothing I've had before and the beetroot relish topped it all off. One of... More

20 euro slab of salmon with absolutely nothing else on the plate. Cute space to have a glass of wine, the food is horridly expensive for very (very) little. I couldn't see any special prep or presentation for the salmon except they made a little star out of some red sauce on the plate. Having eaten at other restaurants in... More

Excellent food and wine. This was a recommendation from our hotel and didn't disappoint. We went for dinner but will be returning for lunch while we are here.

Location wise it is in the centre of Fira, the most crowded pedestrian road in front of the caldera. Cross the entrance of Assyrtico and you entered a calm, quiet and atmospheric cycladic back yard just a hop away of the masses. Food is very good and reasonably priced (don't forget Santorini is expensive) which makes it a good alternative... More

We needed a place to relax and have a glass of wine and lunch and we stumbled in here...no view but made up for it in excellent service, great wine and food. Our waiter Nicholas was delightful and made our meal exceptionally enjoyable. We had a local white wine from Sigalis that was amazing and we were excited to find... More

ASSYRTICO Wine Restaurant cafe, since 2011, offers alternative and innovative suggestions of the Greek Cuisine, using mainly local and selected products from around Greece. The same philosophy inspired the restaurant's wine list. A wide variety of wines from Santorini and the rest of Greece can be explored in Assyrtico's unique Wine Cellar! In 2016 Assyrtico relocated and moved from the 1st floor to the Garden of the'60s mansion it was based.
