Delightful garden. The food was very good and a little different from the standard Greek fare, plus a a very good selection of local wines. Although on the main tourist street, shielded from the bustle. Would go back.

My group of 8 decided to dine at Assyrtico based on the recommendation of our hotel's concierge. I am so glad we did! The food was OUTSTANDING. They served the best moussaka I had during our Greece trip. Each dish was tasty, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend a visit.

We are a family on holiday. Saw this place on santorini and decided to have a 10 min rest in this cafe. What a great place and try sherry ice cream . The best thing was veronica who served us picture. One of the most friendliest helpful and beautiful people I ever met . Just from word go she couldn't... More

Beautiful atmosphere, a good selection of local wines for you to try. Great location, and covered garden/terrace perfect for windy days. Overpriced as everything else in Santorini but worth a visit.

Great position- I remember coming here when it was upstairs. The food is simple, plain and tasty..no issues here. The staff are wondering minstrels that occasionally wonder over to the tables - and I mean occasionally. So here is what I wasn't offered - No menu No drink No asking if I'm ready to order No recommendations No offer to... More

We enjoyed this restaurant, even though there are no views of the Caldera. The food is modern Greek cooking with a twist. We did not find other restaurants with such an exciting menu! Lovely wines too and helpfully explained by our waitress!

To begin with the positive, the staff was very friendly. The "fava" was very good but all the other plates we ordered were a bit heavy. Very richly cooked, with a lot of fats. I couldn't finish my plate and that's not like me. Generally it was overpriced but with no good excuse. No view. Nothing wow.

We wanted a little dessert near midnight and chanced upon Assyrtico, which was a lucky find. We had some wonderful Vinsanto dessert wine (local) and a couple of decadent desserts. The interior was planted with trees and flowers and felt both lush and modern. They have a huge wine list with many Santorini wines. Worth a stop.

ASSYRTICO Wine Restaurant cafe, since 2011, offers alternative and innovative suggestions of the Greek Cuisine, using mainly local and selected products from around Greece. The same philosophy inspired the restaurant's wine list. A wide variety of wines from Santorini and the rest of Greece can be explored in Assyrtico's unique Wine Cellar! In 2016 Assyrtico relocated and moved from the 1st floor to the Garden of the'60s mansion it was based.
