Yes, unfortunately. We had lunch there on Monday August 22nd. I had a Greek salad and then meat and rice served in a clay pot. The salad was great but the meat tasted strange and I should have stopped eating it. I thought it was just perhaps different spices that I wasn't accustomed to. I began feeling sick about an... A family of 4, we sat on the sun deck to appreciate the wonderful sunset . Service was great & menu was great value for money. Mezze Starter for 2 was wonderful , as was the sea bass & the grilled fish plate for 1. Moussaka was OK & lamb dish was great. This is not easy to find but... More

We came across this restaurant by chance and it was well worth it! Dining with a view of the Caldera and the sun slowly setting in the distance. Very romantic. Food was very good. Cheese Sanganaki was the best we had so far.

Stani Tavern was there from day one... First lunch and last dinner at Fira! The Saganaki is the best way to start our visit to greek cuisine. Then the Moussaka and the Chicken Souvlaki are a trip to its origins.

Stopped in on a whim while looking for a place to watch the sunset. The place does fill up, but the prices are very reasonable and the view was gorgeous. It's nice that it's off the main street and they don't stand in the street to try to get people in like a lot of places. Really enjoyed my experience... More

This is the second time that we have eaten here on two separate trips and each time we have found the service very good and welcoming (not rushed at all), the location perfect, reasonably priced and good honest food.

We came across this by chance, just looking for a great rooftop restaurant. Has great views of the ocean! The staff were all so friendly and efficient. We weren't very hungry so just ordered bread and tzatziki. It was delicious, I wish we had the appetite to try more. To top it off, we spent so long there they even... More

We were in Santorini on a day trip from a cruise ship and while wandering around the streets of Fira we came across The Stani Tavern. We liked the traditional menu and the fact there wasn't anyone trying to drag us in as we'd experienced on the front row of cafes/restaurants. We went up to the top terrace and there... More

Stumbled on this first afternoon when we just wanted a cold drink! Really good home made food, good local wine, friendly service and reasonable prices. You get a sunset view from their rooftop terrace without the daft prices charged by others with a view!! So good we went three times in a week!!
