We have literally fallen in love with this place!
The staff is the friendliest we found in Santorini and the food is really great. The location is a wonderful garden with well distanced tables that make the atmosphere magical and private.
We went there few times and on our last day we found out that the restaurant has a wine cellar which has plenty of incredibly fine wines from all over the world (including some of the most rare Italian and French selections).
You can also reserve a wine tasting inside the cellar, which has been literally built by the owners which have walked us through it with extreme enthusiasm.
Probably the nicest place where we have been and if you go to Fira you have to visit it!
The food is typical Greek cusine (very tasty) and the prices are really reasonable, especially considering the stunning location.
The waiter remembered us the second time we went there and he was extremely friendly.
In our opinion every restaurant has something to learn from this place, from the kindness of the staff to the organization of the location in terms of attention to details.
Our only regret is that we found out about the cellar on our last day and we wished we had more time to spend there maybe with a wine tasting experience.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!!

We dined in this restaurant for several evenings becouse the proximity to our hotel. And in order not to swallow too many calories throughout the day, we favored Greek salads and European cuisine. I am amazed to read some negative reviews on the staff ... They are all very kind and in this period customers are always offered at the end of dinner the dessert with excellent Greek yogourt or panna cotta or herbal liqueur. For me, a good place with a nice, pleasant and well-kept atmosphere.

Beneath the ‘secret garden’ of this family-run traditional restaurant, you’ll find a 400 year-old wine cave carved out of stone, holding 600+ different wines from all over Greece and the world, thoughtfully chosen by head sommelier Maria. Book a tour and wine tasting to discover Santorini’s unique wines or let her help you choose the perfect glass to compliment the Cycladic and Greek cuisine. Dine surrounded by palm trees, vines and flowers, with live music if you’re lucky. Magic atmosphere at night. Reasonable prices and generous portions. If you love wine, go here!

Came her because it looked very pretty from the outside and has a nice looking atmosphere.
When we arrived we were asked if we had booked even though the place was almost empty. We where then given 2 seats just to the left of the entrance by the waiting area which was ok when it was empty but as it got busier and was being used the situation be came ridiculous with social distancing thrown out of the window,
There is a branch on the adjacent tree which juts out making it impossible for waiting staff and customers to get by unless they lean over your table on each occasion. The answer is simple cut it off.
We were then asked if we wanted to order bread and water (chargeable). I hate this practise.
I had the chicken which was cold and tough nobody asked why i had left it. The potatoes i have to say where very good.
If it had not of been for the surprise of a complimentary panacotta dessert this review would have been lower.

I want to start by saying that the food was ok and the staff was friendly except for our waiter. When he came to take the order i asked about dish of the day that involved fish. After that I decided to go with the fried cod fish, even if it wasn’t in the list, because i have eaten the ones in the list and wanted to try something different. He then said to me “you don’t want the sea bream?” and i said “no” and after he said “oh it’s too expensive for you then“ (apparently the fried cod was 5 euros cheaper). I have never encountered a waiter so rude, it ruined my mood for the entire evening. Not to mention that the price for the fish was higher than in the menu put on the front of the restaurant.

We arrived during a busy lunchtime and had not booked- the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is like a garden, such a lovely setting. There was also a man playing piano which added to the lovely atmosphere.
We had 2x salads and a bottle of wine, all very tasty and quick service. The lady who we assumed ran/owned the wine cellar was really friendly and invited us to go and have a look around the cellar once we had finished lunch, unfortunately we didn’t have time, however would definitely consider going back for the wine tasting which was very reasonably priced (€25 each for 5 wines , bread and cheeses)

This place was highly recommended and we made a reservation a day ahead. We needed to show a proof of vaccination to sit inside as it was chilly when we visited. When we came, we were seated in the space between the “inside” and “outside” areas, right by the check out station with a kitchen door to the side and a lot of traffic. This was already disappointing as there was no ambiance… but when I asked for a table “inside” as promised, I was told that there are no tables and that this transitional space is still considered “in”.
The food was not what we expected… the baked feta was great but the seafood tray was not. Seared tuna was so salty that we could not eat it and out of three pork rolls only one had filling, the other two were empty, just rolled pork. The manager approached us and apologized about tuna, said that they need to check if what we are saying is true (they had to taste that it was salty, they did not believe us), but after taking our plate back to the kitchen, they did not charge us for it.
This place looks great, like a garden with tables and if you are fortunate to sit in a right spot, the ambiance is nice. The food is not worth the money, there are much better restaurants around with great dishes and comparable prices. Would not recommend.

I highly recommend this place for the taste of the food. I have ordered a grilled squid which came amazingly presented on a big plate with steamed vegetables. Also the green salad was super delicious. The portions are big and the staff was very helpful in making my dinner choices.

Set further in from the coastline, this pretty restaurant can be found hidden within a garden off the main stretch of shops and restaurants. We ordered the bread to start followed by the beef ragu with aubergine and pork souvlaki, all of which were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. The cocktails were massive and so good!

Service was extremely slow. We ordered starters, mains and a drink together and waited to minutes for the drink to arrive to the table although it wasn't that busy at the time. There were two male staff working in our section and seemed more interested in flirting with a group of girls than serving the paying customers.
It was approx 10.30pm when we arrived and were told they served food until 11pm but when the waiter was taking our starter off the table he completely cleared it and the other waiter had to tell him we were eating mains too. He pulled a very unimpressed face to this news yet a group of young girls came in maybe 10 minutes after and no issue with getting served. It was extremely hard to get the attention of the waiter to order anything as they spent majority of the time over chatting with the girls rather than walking around checking on other guests. We had planned to stay and have another drink after food but the lack of attention we opted to go elsewhere where we knew we would receive good service. To pay we couldn't get the attention of either staff so ended up having to call one of the women from the other section to get the bill. She was extremely friendly. Such a shame we were put in this section as the other staff seemed very welcoming and friendly.
I ordered the cheese pie for starter and my boyfriend the potato gratin. For mains we both got the kebab souvlaki. All of which was amazing full of flavour, decent portions and very reasonable choices. Would recommend based on the food but hopefully you won't be put in a section with these 2 waiters.

I am 15 years old and I came here with my friends for my 15th birthday it was amazing the food is amazing and the experience was magnificent. The staff are so kind and give you anything you ask for, the price is very reasonable. The decoration of the restaurant is exquisite with all the plants it feels like your in a different world. I go back to Greece every year and I go to this restaurant even though I live in Singapore it's always worth the time and money to go to this restaurant.

We came across this restaurant by chance, glad we did. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is in a large lush garden setting and the atmosphere and food was amazing and good value for money. Go and experience this place you won’t be disappointed!

A really cool place!
totally surrounded with cool plants, it feels more like being in a jungle that in the middle of Fira.
Really nice and capable staff.
The food was tasty and atmosphere was so nice with live piano music in the middle of the day!
Also important for those who are (like me) no fans of greek coffee - cappuccino and espresso were very good which is not a given in Greece!
would love to come again, but we discovered it on our last day unfortunately. Definitely recommended!

We initially planned on getting a cheap gyros as we’d spent a lot at this point on food at Santorini, but everywhere was busy. We took a gamble and went to the first restaurant we found and boy did it pay off!
The restaurant was almost at capacity but we were able to be seated in the non-smoking area (which is a plus for us as we don’t smoke, I would however give warning that if you like us don’t smoke, it may be offputting to sit next to someone smoking whilst eating. Each to their own though!)
Our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and answered all the queries we had. I went for the lamb, with roast veg and potato (€20), whilst my partner went for a traditional spaghetti dish native to the island (€10!!).
It was probably the best lamb I’ve had in my life, it literally fell off the bone and was so tender (admittedly I am not a big lamb eater, but like to think I’ve tried it in enough cuisines to make a good recommendation!) My girlfriend’s dish was very garlicy (but to be honest that’s why she was drawn to it in the first place so this was a plus for her), and flavoursome. The wines we were served were of a good quality, and the baklava was really good too for €7- the cheapest one we’ve found so far in a restaurant.
I couldn’t recommend this enough as a respite from the expensive side of Santorini. It is a very good quality whilst providing great value for money.

We started with the famous Santorini yellow fava bean dip, which was lovely, and would have been much lovelier if the bread hadn't been stale. For mains we ordered prawns with rice and lobster spaghetti. The rice turned out to be couscous, which we are not fans of (plus if we tend to like to receive what we order...). The prawns were very nice. The plate of lobster pasta was €70. The lobster was very much on the small side and the claws were nowhere to be seen. The lobster meat was rubbery and tasteless. It could have been replaced by the sole of a shoe and we probably would not have noticed the difference. The pasta was totally bland and tasted nothing like lobster/shellfish. It was so bad that most of it was left on the plate.
The staff were friendly enough but not very attentive.
Overall, it felt like a bit of a tourist trap and certainly not value for money.
