First of all the courtyard is so beautiful and with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I planned a trip to Greece for my birthday with 15 friends and family members. This was one of the restaurants I picked based on their tasting menu. Works cannot even begin to describe how amazing an experience we had. George the restaurant manager was...very accommodating putting us all at one table for our final celebration night. Christos was very informative and helpful when pairing our wines with the food selection. Dimitris and Marinos gave us their undivided attention and were so attentive to us throughout the experience. The biggest shot out goes to their chef Vasilis Spyros who put together such a beautiful tasting menu to capture the islands of Greece through food. I opted, together with my girlfriend, for the a-la-carte menu (which is composed by a starter, a first course, a main course, and a dessert) as the tasting menu looked too extensive for a summer dinner. I had: Homage to Giorgos Hatzigiannakis as starter, From...Mani to Santorini with Love as first course, Sea Urchin, Lemon & 'Nduja Spaghetti as main course, and the Santorini Pistachio Pallete as dessert. Was it good? Yes. Was it memorable? No. The service was attentive, and the location is well presented, albeit a bit hidden from the street, with the tables disposed around an internal cloister. We had an incredible experience at Selene - the service, food and ambience were off the charts. This is fine dining at it's finest. The meal and service was incredible. My daughter became chilled during dinner and one of the attendants was quick to bring...her a beautiful pashmina to keep her warm. Incredible. Every detail is thought out and nothing is too much here. The waitstaff is so professional and coordinated, a meal here is a beautifully orchestrated event. Even the music was perfection. Highly recommend! We did the Full moon tasting menu with and everything was great! A lot of love and care in presentation and flavours with an emphasis on local ingredients. Each course was wonderful, nothing negative to say at all. The service was attentive,friendly but...always discrete. They made us feel welcomed and we enjoyed every moment of our dinner. They were also great with my fiancées allergy to nuts. Outstanding wine list and knowledgeable sommelier team!
