My wife and I had the chef's tasting meal, paired with wine. It was the best meal we've had and will likely remain so forever -- and I'm okay with that. The food was excellent. The wine was excellent. And the pairing of each made...both even better.More

The service was great. I was lucky to have the vest view on the other part of the restaurant (not the cliff area as that was fully booked). I was delighted especially as I'd booked the restaurant that very day and got lucky and they...were kind enough to give me a wonderful seat. The view was exceptional. I couldn't stop staring at it. The menu had some dishes that I really liked and some that I felt weren't best suited to my taste buds. I definitely think I'm very picky with how my meat is cooked and hate fat. I really liked the dessert and absolutely loved my drink. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had (I don't drink alcohol and I'm rarely impressed with the mocktails I have so I was extremely pleased. I also quite liked theMore

The location is amazing , really one of a kind. In our opinion the menu is overpriced. The waiters were really nice and attentive. However, the sommelier ruined the experience for us. From the beginning of the night he was trying to do aggressive sales....We said we want Greek red wine and without even asking about our desired price range he brought 3 bottles and put them in the table, the cheapest one was 180€ and asked which one. I told him that we like simple Greek wine, he got visibly pissed, left , came back with another bottle and with an attitude and poured us that wine. We were having fish and it was way too think, heavy, with very high tannins. He came back a little later and I told him that it was such a wrong choice of wine and that it doesn’t match our food at all. And his response was - yes, I know, but that’s what you wanted. I explained to him that it was NOT what we wanted nor asked for, but again the ATTITUDE he was giving us was something else. It felt like his revenge for not wanting to buy super expensive wine. He came back and without even looking at us poured us 2 glasses of wine that was much better and took the bottle away. The wine he sold us, as we found out later, when we got the bill was 121€. I think people like that shouldn’t be working in service, especially in special expensive restaurants where people go to have a memorable night.More

Location is 5-star, no doubt about it. We were guest at Adronis so capitalizing on their restaurant was convenient. Service was top notch. 4/5 rating comes based on the 490€ tasting menu (w/pairing) and falling short of the expectations that comes with asking customers to...pay that amount even with the view. I’d skip the tasting menu and go for a cocktail + ala carte dinner.More

We had previously booked this restaurant for my 60th birthday but was cancelled. Due to COVID but we were able to try again for my wife’s 50th. We booked about 3 months ahead of time to ensure we got one of the tables on the...cliff edge. It’s quite a walk down from the hotel reception above but it does give the opportunity for a few more photos! We were shown to the table I had requested which gives a great view of Oia. Please note you will not see the sunset from the restaurant as the land to the north blocks this out. It is a beautiful setting with the tables reasonably spaced. We were given menus and water (€9 per bottle) and decided to have the tasting menu with the standard fish and meat course (lobster and wagyu beef cost an extra €55 each which we didn’t think was worth it and seeing the portion size served to others this was definitely a good call). The sommelier came over with cocktail menus but was reluctant to hand them over - instead wanted to do his talk on his recommendations - fine but we wanted to see the menu not least to check the prices. In the end he did give us the menus and that was the last we saw of him for the meal until we complained. We started with a nice selection of breads and butters then a selection of one bite items to start us off. These were good and were a good introduction to the rest of the meal. A carrot soup, sea bass tartar - both beautiful in design - kept us going before the 2 main courses arrived. It was a cold and windy night so were looking forward to the hot dishes. The cod dish arrived and was cooked well and with a buttery sauce tasted great - problem was it was almost cold and so was the plate. Before the fish had arrived I was expecting the sommelier to ask about what wine we wanted (he had already missed the opportunity to sell us the wine pairing earlier in the meal) but no he was nowhere to be seen. I challenged our waiter about what was going on with the drinks/wine and finally the sommelier made an appearance. I explained that we were not going to order a full bottle of wine to drink with just one course so he did say he would serve us a wine by the glass. After serving this we didn’t see him again so no opportunity for a dessert wine. The chicken dish was 10/10 for presentation with a small portion of parsnip, purée and a mushroom ravioli. Much too small for a main course even in a tasting menu. Like the fish it was almost cold, again on a cold plate. For my wife’s birthday they brought a dessert in the shape of a cake and together with the main dessert these were the stars of the evening- beautiful and delicious. We didn’t particularly like the ginger pre-dessert or the petit fours at the end but that’s down to personal taste. Following our complaints about lack of drinks and the cold food the manger decided not to charge us for the 2 glasses of wine or cocktails which was a good response to the situation - however if you are going to charge the prices of the food and drink they do here you deserve to expect almost perfection and this wasn’t the case for us.More

My partner and I had dinner at the sommeliers table last week which was meant to include a personal sommelier and wine pairing to accompany the tasting menu. Both of us enjoy trying new wines and were hoping that at 500 euros per person it...would be the highlight of our holiday. Unfortunately this was not the case and it was the most disappointing night of the trip. There was no personalisation, the sommelier was abrupt and rude and didn’t even ask us what kind of wine we like. We were given 6 wines to try, we looked them up and they all retailed between 15-30 euros per bottle and the sommelier only gave us around 70mls of each one. My partner had a fly in one of his glasses and when he pointed this out the sommelier took out a sieve and actually sieved the fly out the wine and gave it back to him! I’ve never experienced anything like it before, especially considering it was a relatively cheap bottle and a small serving. The setting itself was beautiful, the waiter/waitresses very helpful and the food was lovely, however for us the points above ruined the night. If you do go I’d strongly recommend avoiding the sommeliers table and the wine paring, it’s a complete waste of money.More

This was a beautiful place to celebrate our engagement in Oia. We reserved a table on the balcony which required a price fix menu. It was definitely expensive but offered a unique dining experience worthy of a celebration. The wine recommended was delicious, and each...of the dishes were unique combinations of flavor we had never experienced before. The service was as good as it gets - from sommelier recommendations, utensils specific to each dish, blankets offered once it got chilly, etc. - on par or exceeding any other fine dining we've experienced. The substitutes for additional cost (lobster, wqgyu) were overpriced though, we should have stuck with the regular menu, which in it of itself, was incredible. Thanks Lycabettus for an unforgettable evening.More

Hands down, this was the best restaurant I’ve ever visited. From the unreal culinary flavors and wine to the unmatchable experience, it was impeccable. I’ve traveled the world and nothing compares. If you are lucky enough to have George as your sommelier, you’re in for...a real treat. Flavor explosions in your mouth with the wine pairings he presented alongside Neodas. The experience, the ambience (wow the views) and the adventurous food and wine pairings make this like none other. Even days after, we are still reeling from the meal. It will never be forgotten.More

I would rate this meal and dining experience a lot higher than the meal we’ve had at a Michelin star restaurant recently. I was disappointed to begin with as there were only a few vegetarian options and no starters to my liking. Due to this...I ordered a main to start as well so I wasn’t sat with nothing whilst my partner ate. The table next to us actually left immediately because of the lack of vegetarian variety. I must say that wasn’t disappointed for long… The service was outstanding, everyone was very attentive and never missed a detail. The cocktails were delicious and the food was just incredible. We had postcard views and the sunset over dinner, we actually decided to make an early booking especially for the sunset. We were staying at the Andronis which was 5* in every way possible so we knew that Lycabettus would match those expectations. It really was our best ever dining experience. An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish - we would definitely return to Lycabettus if we were to visit Santorini again.More

No valet or parking at the restaurant. It’s Santorini a small island. You need to find side streets to park. 10 min or more of a walk to the restaurant
