Fresh fish was delicious. All round great experience - the trip there by rib, the warm welcome and the exceptional food.

Our hotel suggested and arranged the reservation. We were met in the old port and transported (free) in a rib to the restaurant which is only accessible from the sea or a long walk down very many steps. The staff were very friendly and we...choose two fish for our party of four. Fish was probably the best we have ever had. Just amazing Well worth a visit to this pretty taverna with the added attraction of a Rob ride to get there. It’s a must do whilst in SantoriniMore

Armeni Restaurant is as delicious as the adventure of getting there! Beautiful setting, charming restaurant, and incredible service are almost as amazing as the remarkable food. Truly an OUTSTANDING dining experience.

Lovely food but the uniqueness of this restaurant is what makes it special. Great friendly service in an incredible location. Freshly caught fish perfectly prepared looking out at the water around Santorini makes this a must visit. Try calling for a reservation as it is...very small but you have a much better chance of a table that wayMore

Truly the best fish I've ever had. They will show you what they have for the day and then it is perfectly grilled whole, deboned and served with olive oil and lemon. It was perfect. A few things to know. Highly recommend making a reservation...and taking the boat there. It is accessible by stairs, which we did on our first visit because it was too windy for the boat to operate, but this is not for the faint of heart. My apple watch said it was approximately 40 flights of stairs which you need to go down and then back up. If you are walking make sure to wear stable footwear as some areas are slippery and uneven, wear sunscreen and bring some water. That said, it was totally worth it and we went back later in the week by boat which was a lovely ride and a MUCH easier way to get there. Highly recommend.More

We loved riding a boat to this restaurant! There were only 6-8 tables there, at a quaint little seaside restaurant. The fish was fresh and wonderful and our meal with appetizers, pita, and veggies was so delicious! We spent about half of what we spent...at Amoudi tavern the previous evening. Personable staff! It’s a little crazy to get to the pier if you’re going for sunset-steep incline! We took a taxi to the pickup pier and were glad we did!More

Our meal at Armeni Bay stays with me even after our return home. The walk down to the bay, the setting and of course the food. The sea bream was cooked perfectly, so fresh and delicious. Having lunch sitting on the bay without any crowds...was certainly the highlight of our stay in Oia. After unsuccessfully trying to get a table on line we reached out directly which is definitely the way to go.More

Fabulous night at Armeni , we felt were really in Greece. From when we were picked up at the bay by boat. That was an experience. At the resturant the staff were so helpful, explained everything. We had the sea bream and it was gorgeous...so fresh and filleted for us. A dessert on the house as well. We got the boat back and the views were breathtaking all lit up. Nicolas even got the boat over to help us with our taxi. How kindMore

Wonderful experience dining at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon a couple of metres from the water. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the fish were very fresh and tasty (we had Sea Bream) Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a small, local...restaurant that’s slightly off the beaten track. Two points of note, I wouldn’t attend if you are not a fish lover and would take the water taxi rather than walk if you’re not comfortable with some fairly steep steps!More

We loved the fresh fish served at this restaurant and the way the server went around and showed us his case of fish from which to choose. Love the family-owned vibe and the short but sweet boat ride from Ammoudi Bay to and from dinner....We had our hotel call and make a reservation for us. We walked down and up the Ammoudi Bay stairs before and after dinner but can imagine that this may be fairly strenuous for some people but we saw lots of taxis around for transport if needed.More

Armeni is a really special place. We booked it through our accommodation and the restaurant arranged for a boat to collect us from Ammoudi Bay and bring us around the corner to lovely, secluded Armeni Bay. Our experience in the restaurant was brilliant. Our waiter...showed us a selection of fish that had just been caught that he then weighed in front of us and grilled with some lemon and olive oil. It was simple, but absolutely delicious. I can't emphasise just how delicious the meal was and the experience was fantastic. If you can only get to one restaurant when you're in Santorini, go here.More

Absolute perfection. The location is epic. There is a boat ride involved, with a wonderful, fun and skilled driver. The waiters all act like owners, the locale is stunningly beautiful and small. The food is absolute perfection. You choose your own fish, they weigh it...in front of you, and it is cooked to perfection. The vegetables taste like they were picked in the last 5 minutes and if you go for lunch? You can jump into the Aegean before you go back to the mainland. Dinner was so good that we came back for lunch! It doesn’t get better than this. But make reservations early; they book up fast and don’t just show up or you will be turned away. The place is small.More

Initially wanted a dinner reservation, but was fully booked, so went for lunch. Much better option. We took the complimentary boat from Ammoudhi Bay, which was a great way to get to the restaurant. Stayed 3 hours, didn’t feel rushed to leave at all. All...our food was outstanding and staff were very friendly. Definitely a memorable experience, which I would happily repeat.More

My girlfriend and I came for lunch on our last day in Santorini and it was by far the best meal we had in our entire trip to Greece. The food was exceptional. The scallops and salad were incredible, and the fish was incredibly fresh....In addition to the outstanding food, the setting was exceptional. The staff is very kind and attentive. The bay is very quiet and picturesque, and the seating is truly right at Oceanside. I have thought about our meal here many days since and would recommend all add this to their Santorini to-do list.More

Not hard at all. Ask your hotel or contact the restaurant and arrange for a water taxi. You can also call yourself if in a private residence.
