Hands down the best food you will have in Santorini! We visited two out of the three days we were on the island. A quick, casual place that won’t break the bank. For about 30 euros we got garlic pita bread with chili sauce, a gyro chicken pita wrap, a gyro pork main entree, 2 cokes, and a bottle of water. The staff was very friendly as well as a couple little kitties that were hanging around. They keep their distance unless you offer some chicken like we did :) we can’t recommend this place enough - don’t miss it!

I think we came here 4 times during our week in Santorini. The pita wrap is delicious, every one of them, but especially the pita wrap with chicken gyros. If you're very hungry order a main dish with gyros and pita bread, the amount of food you get is impressive (often saw people leaving a lot on the plate), but a pita wrap is probably enough which makes the price for a delicious diner very pleasing (only 4,50!). Very friendly staff. Tip: after eating a delicious pita wrap walk to Lolita's, 2 minutes away, and get the most creamy homemade ice cream ever.

YUM! We had gyros and beers here, for a late dinner after watching sunset down at the end of town. I had the vegetarian gyros (easily made vegan but omitting the tzatziki). When paying the bill, I was charged €2 to swap the tzatziki to chilli sauce (keeping in mind the gyros is €3) BUT was super tasty so worth it ☺️ Good selection of craft beers. Overall fantastic experience! Highly recommend. Will be back 🙌🏼

Amazing authentic, local food, and given the location they have not really hiked up the prices like a lot of places. We ate 2 courses with drinks here for €28 which was cheaper than the €41 we spent on 2 cocktails in a nearby hotel bar!! Food quality is unbelievable and if you have to stand around and wait a little while for a table just do it and enjoy a drink whilst you wait. A must visit for everyone that goes to Oia.

Don't like those superlatives but anyway .. it was one of the best if not the best Gyros I had so far in my life. Now it is out. However, to put this in to perspective it is my first time in Greece and I am on my second week and I don't order Gyros everywhere I go. But where I grew up I went regularly to Greek restaurants and fast food places. At this place in Oia both of us had the pork gyros and we found the meat of good quality and it was well grilled. The fried potatoes were also really good and so was the tzatziki. Guys working there did a very good job regarding service, quality awareness and friendliness. They have local artisan beer on the drinks menu which goes rather well with the food. When they change the gyros skewers those fishes will be unavailable before the next batch is ready.

Although you might have to wait to get a seat for around 10 minutes it is worthwhile, out of all the restaurants that I went to including some with the best views of the sunset this was my favourite, the food was the best I had on the island, being a Cypriot from England I had to get a gyro, there's no sit down restaurant that offers just meat (well at least not one that is recommended by the hotel, except this one). Waiters were friendly, always available and willing to help. A must try!

We ate here three times in our 10 day stay. The food was top notch, fresh, hot and delicious. If you want to sit you need to be there before sunset otherwise you are likely to have to queue. However, totally worth it if you do have to queue. We ate in some fancy places too but didn’t go back to any of them which gives you an idea of the quality of this place. Add to that the fantastic prices (really good value in comparison to many places we ate in Santorini which we found had prices comparable to London where we’re from- so quite pricey). Service faultless too so would highly recommend.

Pitogyros is fantastic! Best gyros we found. We tried the pork and chicken in gyros and both were fabulous. Just the right amount of ingredients. Really great value as well after so much high end fantastic dining around the island! If you want to dine in, be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes depending on when you arrive (like lunch time), so recommend take away. My husband and I couldn't stop talking about it!

We came here twice during our stay in Oia, The place is very often crowded, but it is expected given that it's pretty small restaurant and there are only a few tables. The staff is helpful and they clearly explain how the waiting lines work (for orders to go or to get a table on the terrace). The food is super good and relatively cheap for Oia, so great value in my opinion!

We came around 4pm. They were not very busy but told us to wait for 10 minutes before seating us. After seated, it took a while for them to come to our table, while they had tended to the other tables first. After placing our order, we waited even longer. There were other people who came after us and were already eating their food. There was this family of about 10 people who couldn’t get a table and ordered togo, they got their food, one at a time while we were still waiting. We finally became annoyed and waved at the owner (?) to tell him we wanted to cancel the dessert, which was the baklava with ice cream, he said “it was already made”. Really?! Then we complained about other people getting food ahead of us, he said we ordered the grill mix which took longer. Not sure how a couple more of their specialty grilled pieces took longer to make while about 15 others were being served the same things. We couldn’t help wondering if we got ignored because we were Asian and the only Asians there. Regardless, we will not return.

I’d been recommended PitoGyros by a friend and was not disappointed. The food is so so good and if you can grab a table it’s nice to sit and have a carafe of wine and Greek salad as well. We actually ate here twice and both times were equally as good. Definitely visit if you want to taste some proper souvlaki and gyros!

Visited for dinner having read the highly rated reviews, but sadly it failed to live up to expectations. The service was perfunctory and lacked any warmth or interest. My mixed grill comprised three sausages, a small pork spike and a small chicken spike and two 'steaks', which can best be described as two tough thin pork insoles, sitting on a round pitta bread accompanied by a quartered pitta bread and two generous dollops of pleasant relish on the grease proof paper. The cutlery was thin single use wood sealed in paper wrappers. Sadly not up to the job and snapped under less than the force needed to attack the pieces of leather. The water cups were single use plastic cups.... Not so eco friendly, and the wine glasses were paper cups which blew over if less than an inch or more of wine was in them. OK, I can live with all that, however, uniquely, among all the other very good meals of similar price on the island, the food was not good. Whilst the flimsy wood cutlery made it very hard to judge toughness, the taste, aftertaste and four hour plus after, after taste was of undercooked pork with bad indigestion. Not a nice experience. Unfortunately my wife's smoked chicken sandwich on yellow bread was dried up at the edges and slimy in the middle, promoting similar indigestion. The anchovy paste flavour on the bread was pleasant though. I sense this establishment having got a good reputation gets its trade from single visit customers too easily so has fallen down on quality and hospitality basics which are present in such abundance on the island. OH DEAR!!

This was our favorite restaurant during our trip to Greece. Not only were the gyros and Greek salads delicious, but the service was also outstanding. When you arrive you go to the counter inside to let them know if you’d like to get on the list for a table or put in an order to go. We went twice because we enjoyed the food so much and both times our wait was around 15-20 mins to get a table but then ordering and the turn around of getting our food was very quick. We highly recommend!!

OMG, so good. Was under $20 for 2 gyros, a beer and cola. Best meal ever!! Loved it. The food was so fresh and the flavours just exploded in our mouth. And yes there were fries in it. Haha Just note you need to go inside to order take out and If you want to sit in their outdoor restaurant, you go inside as well to get your name on the waiting to list to sit outside and you line up against the wall. (We were confused at first) Food is quick and we have our food in less then 10 mins.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They should get a 0 out of 5 if I could !!!!They served us undercooked chicken and when we notified the waiter and they put it back on the grill and it still did not taste correct. We asked to speak to a manager who was rude and debates my wife for 15 mins and he won’t take it off the bill. Seems like bad business to not credit us for a meal that was clearly not up to standards and deal with a bad review at the top of his feed during peak vacation season. Sad that this gentleman let his ego get in the way of doing the right thing
