We found this restaurant through trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Service was very responsive and the food was the best we have had so far in Santorini. The Fava was exceptional, as was the octopus and fried potatoes. Definitely recommend for...lunch.More
We came here twice, once for dinner and once for Lunch. Both times the food and service was fantastic and for Oia, the prices are reasonable too. There were so many good dishes that we tried, though special mention for the grilled octopus and the...Lamb shank with potatoe puree. They serve reasonable wine to accompany the food and everything we ordered was great. Cost for two circa €65 with drinks and a LOT of food. 4 dishes between two more than enough though we had 5 and were stuffed. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some proper Greek food and have to say again the service we recieved was friendly and efficient. A lovely restaurant!More
A super evening with delicious food and great service. Just be careful not to over order! Definitely allow room for the traditional dessert at the end too. Prices are very good value - would definitely visit again. Thank you!
We didnt have reservation but due covid situation and the end of the season there was a table available. we started with starters and then we have a grilled octopus and homemade pasta. very good and not too much for a dinner.
We are surprised about the great reviews the place has received. It has the concept going for it. Although they don’t claim to be a tapas place, the menu looks a bit like that. You can get a big variety of Greek food in there,...and more meat dishes than fish. What we didn’t find convincing is the execution. The start was ok, with the mixed dips. Then came the oven baked smoked cheese, which was nice, and the grilled vegis, not bad either. The stuffed chicken was ok too. But both the spicy beef sausage and the pork chop didn’t have any drop of juice left in them, so either totally overcooked, or reheated.
The service was professional, but not overly friendly. What also turned us off is that food came very quickly, so that we were out again a little over an hour after we came. Also not sure why a free digestiv was offered to other diners who left less money in the place, but not to us.
We left Melitini with the feeling of a wasted dinner in Oia. Granted, it didn’t leave a big dent in our wallet either. Btw - if you want to dine there, be sure to make a reservation. The place is super popular.More
We stopped here for lunch after hiking to Oia from Fira. The upstairs terrace is glorious and the small plates of food incredible. Best octopus we’ve had since coming to Santorini. Also recommend the sardines which were incredible and the meatballs - definitely recommend coming...here. Also the service was excellent.More
Tried this restaurant as we have seen it everywhere: good reviews on Tripadvisor, on Google reviews, on some instagramers feed. It was definitely worth it! We had the plateau with different kind of spreadables ( tzatziki, eggplant salad, spicy salad, etc) served with hot oily...pita - delicious! We also tried the fried zucchini (crispy and yummy), the saganaki cheese (OMG, do try) and the Santorini salad. As we drank water, everything was around 35 euros. I think it is a decent price for the tone delicious food we ate. We stayed on the upper terrance where it was a bit windy, but I guess this is Oia after all. Go here, it's amazing.More
