The walk here was anazing, and we were exhausted when we got there. The ambiance is awesome, sat right on the water, it was beautiful. Service was good and the food was good. Not amazing, but good. I think for dinner it probably would get...5 stars with the view...More

Make sure you can get a taxi to this restaurant from the town of Oia. We ended up walking way down to this restaurant, but WoW was it worth it!!! the food and service was excellent. We got the mixed grilled for 2, with Prawns,...calamari, octopus, fish and muscles along with greek salad and rice. Have to admit we ate it all! Sitting one step from the water and viewing the boats in the bay was great! So glad we made the trek.More

When we visited Amoudi, we sat here for lunch. Nice traditional atmosphere, family run, overlooking the bay. The food was good in general and the prices moderate for Santorini standards. I recommend it.

Wow. This place is incredible. The views, the staff, the food, the drinks. Everything about this place is just amazing. We managed to get a booking after phoning around a few places in amoudi bay and all being fully booked - which now I’m glad...of. We were able to get a second row seat (they go in rows for the sunset view) as you will see from my images we were on the stone platform off to the side of the restaurant, if you are offered it then definitely take it!! We had a variety of different foods however for our main we had the lobster linguine. Which when converted back into £ it ‘s very reasonable! The flavours from this dish was outstanding and my boyfriend and I still say to this day it was the best food we have EVER eaten, so so flavoursome. The cocktails were high quality with fresh fruit being used for the daiquiris. The waiter was very helpful, polite, funny and all round perfect. He even asked me if I would like to see the fresh produce where I was taken into the kitchen and shown the fresh fish, lobster and other seafood that was available for that evening. If you have the chance to go here please do! You definitely won’t regret it.More

We were staying in Ammoudi Bay and decided to try Dimitri’s for our final evening dinner. I went and made reservations when they first opened and was able to get a table right on the water. Joy was super helpful and also waited on us...and was really kind and attentive. The food was excellent. Unfortunately it turned cloudy so we didn’t get an amazing sunset, but the food, service, and overall atmosphere still made it an unforgettable experience. We would definitely come back if we return to Santorini! We ordered pita and hummus, tomato fritters, and potato salad. Also, order the lava cake for dessert - you will not be disappointed!More

We ate very well and enjoyed a lovely evening, served by the owner herself who was extremely friendly and efficient. The food was simple and good quality and the view of the sunset as well as the catamarans was awesome. The walk down and back...up again to Oia town were well worth it.More

We had a table on the separate platform area. The sunset views are incredible, the best on the island. The food was excellent from start to finish. Lovely wine selection. Service was great.

En route from Iraklion to Rethymno, stopped at this family run taverna. What a lovely find. Most places were closed for the season but this little gem sits opposite the beach, just off from the highway. Nico, the owner was very hospitable and generous despite...this being his last week of being open after a long season. Had the grilled prawns, cooked by his mother and Greek salad and white table wine - all very delicious. Worth a try if you want to sit in a shaded arbour looking out at the sea, next season.More

We had tried to book a few days before, by phone and message, with no response. We managed to get through on the day and book a table for sunset, although not at the front, the restaurant is small and so second table back still...had an excellent and mostly unobstructed view. We were down on a small platform by the water, by our choice. We had the Zucchini, tomato balls and tzatziki as appetisers and shared red snapper and some sides for mains. All dishes were excellent, the tomato balls were the best we had in Santorini. The food was worth the price given the view and excellent service. We did not feel rushed to leave our table or to order/eat. The wine was lovely though on the pricier side. We enjoyed the best sunset of our trip here, it felt very magical.More

Beautiful location, delicious food. So fresh and plentiful. We made reservations the same day, no problem. We ordered the local specialty as an appetizer of fried tomatoes, not too crazy about these, after trying fried green tomatoes, these just seemed like all batter. With that...out of the way, I’ll focus on all that was delicious. From the pitta bread to the salad that comes with your meal, amazing. We ordered the potato salad with capers, OMGosh, very good. We also ordered the Saganaki, fried cheese, so so yummy. For our main course we shared the seafood combo, they served it with a lemon olive oil sauce on the side that was delicious. The platter came with prawns, calamari, octopus, fish and mussels. All so fresh and full of flavor. The octopus was surprisingly good, I had always eaten it cold, which is good but oh my surprise, grilled is the food of Gods. Calamari, not so much, best eaten like the Italians serve it, fried, the grill makes it to chewy. The fish was delicious and so fresh, and the mussels, oh so very good!! I dipped some pitta bread in the juice, so good. If you are traveling to Santorini, make sure you visit this amazing restaurant!!! They will not disappoint. Oh and the service? Top notch.More

We booked a table for sea front view but that was impossible due to the winds. When we arrived we were given a table at the end of the restaurant but we saw people were seated at the spots we asked for. There were still...two tables left. One of the waiters, a guy, was very unfriendly. Moreover they gave people front view to people who just came without reservation. That was the moment we decided to leave.More

Wow wow wow, what more can I say about this place. Since we have come home I haven’t stopped talking about the food and cocktails we had here! We were sat in the most beautiful section off the restaurant, right next to the water and...in full view of the sunset. Our waiter was absolutely brilliant, so attentive and polite. Even offered to see the fish and produce on offer for the day in which he explained what they were and the sizes. It was amazing. Starters we chose the feta in honey, mussels and pita bread all in which were amazing. Mains we went for the lobster linguine for 2 and oh my it was the nicest meal I’ve had in my life. The sauce on the linguine was incredible and the lobster was so meaty! Highly recommend. Drinks we tried a few cocktails but the strawberry daiquiri was definitely my fave, best I’ve ever had! I thoroughly enjoyed this evening and my favourite of the holiday. But be prepared you may struggle to go back up, consider a taxi off to the left hand side! Also I would advise booking for around 7pm this time of year you will get a perfect sunset dinner! Also there were lots of people trying to get tables so bookings are a must if you want good views! Thank you to all the staff, you are doing a fantastic job!! I can’t wait to return to Santorini and come here again 😊😊More

The waitresses helpfulness and knowledge of my food allergy is the only reason for a 4 rating instead of a 3. This was our most disappointing dinner of the trip after following the suggestions of others to go. Be prepared for a huge flight of...stairs to get down. This would have been no issue if the food had tasted better. Food lacked freshness though the spicy feta dip was good. While it’s on the water, because of how low it is, the waves splashed up spraying us. Sunset views were much better at other locations.More

This was our third visit and it gets better each time. We ate on the expansion of the outdoor seating on a rocky promontory and it was a very beautiful setting, especially for the sunset. We had delicious appetizers, delicious fish and were able to...linger and enjoy our wine. We never felt rushed to turn over the table and thoroughly enjoyed our entire dinner experience. The restaurant has the best location in Ammoudi and if you are staying in Oia then getting down to Ammoudi is a very nice change of scenery. The hike down from Oia is fun but wear very comfortable shoes.More

Are you staying at a hotel on Santorini? I have found the local hotels are very helpful in getting dinner reservations. I would request a table near the water and get there in time for sunset.
