Had dinner at this restaurant in the middle of Chateauneuf A typical French restaurant, serving country style food, tasty and nice quantities. Very friendly and attentive service, very reasonable prices.

The picturesque village provides a great setting for the restaurant. Decor and table settings are informal 'cafe style' and the welcome very friendly. The menu offers much more than crepes and my starter and main (rillettes and guinea fowl) were both well prepared. That being said my wife's main and my desert were crepes and both were superb. The flaming... More

My wife and I were biking and stopped at the very beautiful chateau chateauneuf. After a very hard 2km climb we were ready for lunch. We found this very charming place on, as you guessed it, trip advisor. We both had the escargots and salad with Roquefort cheese, apples and walnuts and washed it down with a nice white burgundy.... We enjoyed the crepes so much that we came back again. The restaurant has a homey atmosphere (kids run in and out plus the cat) and is well decorated. But it is the food that encels. Each meal that we ordered was very tasty and well presented. And different from some other local restaurants, there is just the right amount... More

Most of the TripAdvisor reviews praise the crepes but say little re the main courses which for us were excellent. Portions are large and of high quality. My wife and me both had steak, pepper and olives on skewers, perfectly cooked with fries and green salad. We then had crepes as dessert which were OK but not in our opinion... More

This place is a must if you want to taste the snails for firstime like me or if you want to eat a crepe that you'll never forget. The snails are very well done with butter and lots of herbs. I was very sceptical but they were very delicious indeed. Then we had salty crepes and they were different but... More

This was a family and birthday dinner which totally lived up to our expectations. The menu is unusual and entices you all to pick something different. We had the duck, the pork sausage and one of the savory pancakes, and can say that the (local) meat is of excellent quality. The restaurant is definitely on our list for return visit.

Week end with friends in burgundy. A good restaurant in Chateauneuf. Crepes are good and "Auxois Plate" is a speciality to taste... for sure a place to stay to eat before or after vistong that city.

Had a late afternoon stop here, the scenery is beautiful. We had a seat at the lovely open fire and great crepes and coffee. The owners was really friendly and we enjoyed having a chat with her. We hope to make it back on a nicer day before we head back to Oz
