We came here on our first day in Mindelo and loved it. It feels like an oasis of calm in the city and good range of menu options. You will mostly be surrounded by other tourists. But definitely worth a visit

Its a secret escape with great food, drinks and nice, relaxed, green atmosphere. Its best for lunch or early dinner as it closes with the institute at 7 p.m. Fresh local fish as catch of the day. Great local postres.

A nice place with tasty traditional food. Lots to choose from and everything we tried was very good. But keep in mind that it’s local food, don’t expect to get pizza here. Meanwhile there was no problem to get french fries for kids as extra....More

Found this place on TA and booked as you must, it gets very busy. It turns out to be related to Caleta Restaurant on Santo Antao. The restaurant is in a covered courtyard, the furniture is recycled and the place is run by a frenchman...More
