The atmosphere here is good however the food is not. I had the chefs special which was tilapia with mixed veggies and rice. The only thing worth eating was the rice. The fish was extremely fishy to the point I was afraid to eat it...🤢. The server was excellent and asked the manager to remove it which he refused to do. I’d save my money on this one.More
Dear Ana, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you did not enjoy your entree, and we apologize for any disappointment with how our management team handled it. The next time you're looking for a meal out, we'd appreciate another chance to serve...More
I had to plan an impromptu wedding reception (within one week) for my son and future daughter-in-law for about 30 family members and chose the Red Coach Inn Restaurant because we had another function there 4 years ago and it went very well. I could...not have been more pleased! The banquet manager - Jean - was amazing. She was flexible, informative with choices, assisted with set up, guided me on food and drink selection - all guests raved about the whole event. Also, we had Julie as our waitress assisting Jean and they were so efficient and gracious throughout the entire 4 hours. We really put them both on the spot when one of our guests (a child) got sick and neither missed a beat on rectifying it while the party went on. We also rented a suite for the bride and groom for the night, received a discount due to the banquet and the room was amazing! In total, all aspects of our interactions with the Red Coach Inn were "Practically Perfect" in every way, from the front desk personnel (including Amy), to the banquet manager (Jean), to the waitress (Julie) and the remaining staff who wished us all congratulations. Happy staff, happy guests! Thank you, Red Coach Inn! If you are looking for personal service in an amazing venue - this should be your choice. KarenMore

Ate in the rapids room for brunch. Food was quality and the view was lovely. A quiet experience with a wood burning fireplace in the center of the dining room. Staff was friendly, but there a little bit of a wait to be seated and...get our food.More
Dear Miller, Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed a relaxing brunch with lovely views. Please come see us again soon.
We had been recommended this restaurant by our tour guide and some people we met on the trip. We were seated, and it immediately felt like we were an inconvenience. The waitress repeatedly commented that there was a huge wait for the food because 'you...all came in at once.' There were people with dietary needs on the table, and we asked the waitress what meals were suitable for vegans; she was unsure and suggested adding chicken to a salad. Then the waitress abruptly said she didn't know what there was, so we'd have to look at the menu and choose something. Eventually, the food came out, but there was cheese in one of the meals we had requested to be dairy free. We told the waitress, who said she would change the meal immediately. A while later, the rest of the party had eaten their meals when the waitress came back to say the chef had not started cooking the replacement meal. In the end, that person had no meal. When paying, we asked for the card machine, and the waitress again was very hostile and said the restaurant was too busy, and she didn't have time and left us. Eventually, one of our friends accessed the app and had to pay for everything.More

“Wedding food” or “cruise food “. Vegetables were undercooked. Potatoes were burned. Steak was drowned in sauce. Service average. Nice location.More

This was a local and well established restaurant in this area. It is in the hotel which has beautiful older architecture. We ate in the room that looks out toward the River. My wife had the fish and chips and I had chicken primavera. Either...of these could have been split. The servings were more than generous and the taste of both was excellent. The service was prompt and attentive. I think the waitress could have had a better table side manner but I am from the South and tend to get that southern service. Her actual service was fine, just a personality thing. Our total was over $60 with tip, so it is not inexpensive dining experience. The bread with the butter and olive oil dip was a nice touch that is for each table.More

Portion size was more than we bargained for. Fair priced for the area. Atmosphere was quaint and quiet. Was recommended to us from a Maid in the Mist tour guide. :)
Dear Patricia, We're so happy to know that our quiet atmosphere impressed you during your visit and that you had a great time overall! We hope you'll consider joining us again for more tasty food later down the road.
A rustic restaurant with a small view of the river. The service was not the best as our server seemed to be preoccupied with something and forgot about us. My wife had coconut fried shrimp and surf and turf. The shrimp was just ok, the...surf and turf was just ok. The turf was only about 2 ounces when it was suppose to be 4 ounces, flavor good, and tender. The lobster tail was ok. I had the rib eye steak. I had to send it back as it was tuff and over cooked. I was offered another steak but refused an instead got chicken Parmesan which was just ok. No manager came over to apologize nor were we given a token credit for the issue even though the waitress told us that both mangers agreed that the steak was tuff and over cooked. Dessert was good but the coffee was very weak for our taste. They had no half and half only instant delight creates. To me, it is a sign of poor management. And to boot, we waited over a half hour for a to-go container. The place was not busy. The manger had to bring us one but still never said a word or apologized. I do not recommend this place as it is expensive and your not getting the quality you are paying for.More

We enjoyed our two night stay in the as advertised recently updated Saxon Suite. We booked it prior to seeing updated pictures but one reason we selected a two room suite was to have separation between bedroom and living room as I sleep less than...the Mrs and did not want my early morning to interfere with her sleep. There is no door between the rooms and but for an 8” opening it really is one large space. The 4 vs 5 star though is attributed to the excessive noise from the ac/heat unit which is located in a service closet 3’ from the foot of the bed. We could not sleep with it on as it is excessively loud as it cycled on every 15 minutes or so. I get it…historic old building not equipped for AC but this is one of the loudest I’ve ever heard and I travel much. The positives though include the location, within walking distance to everything, as well as a warm and inviting staff including in the dining room where we enjoyed a few perfect meals with excellent and prompt service. It is a charming and historic Inn which we most likely will visit again if we decide to see the falls second time!More
We really wanted to love this place but were disappointed on nearly every level. Our table was in direct line with the air conditioning vent so it was quite drafty and noisy. When our food arrived, the potatoes were cold, the vegetable medley wasn’t even...cooked, and the ribeye was very grizzly. My husband got the chicken primavera. The chicken was extremely dry and overcooked. Our waitress, Kyla, was very polite and attentive. She really was the best part of our visit. This place is cute and has a lot of character but that’s about it.More

Drove by this a few times. Love old historic places. Decided to do dinner before the fireworks at Niagra Falls. Awesome place. Short staffed but doing a great job. Everyone is pleasant and professional. Sat at the bar for dinner. Wayne was the bartender, who...was fun and offered us suggestions. Makes a mean Old Fashion. Hubby had salmon, I had the pork normandy. Both were excellent. So glad we got to have dinner here.More
