The pizzas are amazing. Nice thin with a crispy crust. Choose your own toppings! Generously filled. Good service.

I have read the previous review about the cash only and the harsh language regarding this restaurant. I need to tell you I have been coming here for YEARS and the cash only IS in fact well published, out front ON the door. Maybe you...should open your eyes next time? Instead of blaming the restaurant for your poor planning... just saying. My husband and I have been coming here for years and it is THE best pizza and service on the planet. We havent been over since Covid (they love their Canadian friends) and we miss it so much. The owner is so pleasant and welcoming, he sits at the bar and chats with you to make sure you are enjoying your meal. The staff is so awesome, they treat you like family. We have brought all of our family and friends to this restaurant, and have never been disappointed. Just wait for the pizza to cool down before digging in, I have burnt my chin as a result of maybe being a little too excited. They also make their own salad dressing. HIGHLY recommend the house salad. Its to die for and served with fresh mozzarella. Have I mentioned I miss this place?More
Ive been going here off an on for ten years. Still the best pizza in western new york. So crispy and so delicious. And the salad. Yummy fresh mozz. There dressing. Yum! Omg and the wings! Aldo sauce. Insane! So hot! But if u can...take it so good! I will always be a loyal customer. And i respect the still doing cash thing. At least theres an atm! So no worries. I mean we tip a driver more than that so its worth it to me if i forgot to get my cash! Thanks for staying the same!More
You should have realized you were in the hospitality business when I came to pick up those pizzas, coming from out of town with three starving kids in the car. Nowhere, anywhere in the process di it say CASH ONLY! Oh, you've got an ATM!...What a convenience in 2020. Damn just $3 extra to cover the inconvenience for your customers. I've got cards, I've got phones, PINs I don't have. Then you say "how much money you got on ya?" Hey, you got my $24 for a tomato broccoli pie. (small 'large' pie). Sorry I gave you a dime. Hope you enjoyed the other 2 pies I had to leave. Nice. Won't SEE ya Later! WTF! Too bad.More
This restaurant is totally non appealing from the exterior and the interior was only slightly better. The exterior sidewalk was not cleaned of snow making our walk difficult. Our waitress pretty much ignored us because we weren't a "regular" customer. A number of tables came...in after us and were waited upon before us. The mixed drinks tasted weird. We ordered a pizza for an appetizer which was very good. I had the chef salad which was large and covered in lunch meat and cheese. My husband had the lasagna but he felt there was nothing special with the dish. Sorry to say we will not return.More
Even without Aldo the place is pretty well the same. Tomatoes were not warm like they were on the salad but still good, meatballs good and pizza excellent. Can't wait to go back.
We had been driving all day and wanted to grab some pizza for dinner. This place was close to our AirBnB and was excellent. We called ahead and in no time our pizzas were ready. Easy parking, good value and the inside was full of...character. Seems like a great old timey place. ATM on site but otherwise cash only.More
We went to this restaurant on Sat night 12 of us family and friends We were seated at one big table The service was very good we spent 2 hours there the food was awesome to the pizza wings ravioli Chicken salads Our waitress was...very good she was pleasant organized and even put up with Domi as he is a bit hard to handle toot toot We had the chef come out and talk to us we thanked him for the good food and great service We would recommend this restaurant for family friends or business dinners It’s been around a long time and you will see why once you go Thanks see you again next year cheers your friends from CanadaMore
My wife and I were referred to La Hacienda by a local we met up with while walking around Niagara Falls. He was right about the pizza...it was very good. But, we were one of 3 dinner tables being used and one of those emptied...out shortly after we arrived. Nobody in the bar...7:00 on a Wednesday night...seems like there should have been more activity than that. Anyway, pizza was very good ... good crust, ingredients seemed fresh and service was satisfactory. It was just disappointing that it wasn't busier. Be advised...cash only, no credit or debit cards. There is an ATM on the premisesMore
Decided to try this again after a two year absence! The owner/manager was very welcoming and promised we would not be disappointed! We had a bottle of their house red and it was good! Asked for extra crispy pizza and it was fabulous! Our waitress...Heather was very personable and efficient! The place is a little more spacious and the atmosphere, cooks and menu is the same! We were delighted and will make this our go to for pizza once again!More
We ventured out of the tourist area and discovered this place. Our pizza was excellent but the best part was the atmosphere. Old neighborhood type restaurant with lots of camaraderie among the patrons. Be aware it’s cash only. There’s an ATM machine in the bar...area if you need it.More
The food was very good actually, but the prices are out of line for this area. This is not NYC. Almost $50 for two spaghetti dishes with two waters is really out of line particularly for this area. Italian food is low cost to make...regardless of how good the ingredients are.More
We are local and love La Hacienda! The food has been consistently top notch every time we go. Recently, I had the meatballs and gnocchi, which was excellent, flavorful and loads of it. I appreciate having leftovers so we don’t have to cook the next...night. My friend had the pizza, and we both had a wonderful chef salad. The house Italian is terrific, and they sell it by the bottle, yay! The time before this visit, my friend had the chicken cacciatore, who said it was the best she’s ever had. Husband had the lasagna, another great meal. We are never disappointed, and the crowds prove it. Friendly and attentive wait staff, and the owners were present and warmly greeted us and asked how our experience was. The answer: A+More
So unfortunately the original owner of this restaurant passed away rest in peace Aldo. The problem is the new owners have changed the menu significantly. The pizza is no longer the same and definitely Aldos Wings sauce is not the same at all. I've been...coming here since I was 15 years old I'm Now 49 years old I'm not rushing back. I discussed with the waitress that things have changed in the recipes aren't the same and she has stated nothing has changed. I am saddened and heartbroken.More
Pizza was just ok, chicken was dried out, soup was horrible. Service was terrible, had to ask for cutlery a couple of times, chicken dish and soup came out 20 mins after the pizzas ,most of our group was done while some were still waiting...for food. Complaining staff just isn't needed to hear from a customer perspective . Probably won't return to this "icon".More
