Meet friends here for brunch. We all took different directions on our orders, and the variety allowed us to do that. We enjoyed the outdoor dining in COVID-19 times, and were able to stay to chat without an issue when we finished our meal. Attentive...and friendly staff.More

4 of us stopped here for breakfast and had a delicious breakfast. We were also made to feel very special. We were treated to cookies and tiramisu when we were leaving. The diner also put plants on booths and tables to allow for social distancing....That looked nice and did the job subtly. We'll definitely go back. Thank you!!More

I don't know what the fuss is about this place -- my husband and I both ate here. He doesn't even remember what he had (not good), and mine was the driest turkey club I ever had. I lathered mayo on it and it didn't...matter -- WAY too dry, I couldn't take it back to the motel room for later because it was that bad. The prices are ridiculous! Are they kidding?? Ridiculous. I'd never eat here again. Plus, I don't like what the GreekDoc said, and that's troublesome if it occurred as he said it did. Thank you, GreekDoc914 for raising this. I'm a white female but don't like hearing that racism still exists, such as here, as you said you witnessed. There's no excuse. Regardless, based on the terrible food and the high prices, we won't stop here again. I can't comment on the racist incident because I didn't witness it but if it did happen, that would keep me away also.More

As seasoned travelers, this diner is one of our all time favorite "must stop" places in the northeast. Anytime we are traveling on route 84 in that area we always stop to enjoy the food. We can very easily bestow accolades on this diner for...its quality food, fair prices, good service, portion sizes and friendly clean atmosphere. The menu is huge and diverse with something for every taste. Do not hesitate to try this diner. - You will not be disappointed!👍😃More

I apologize for the grammar ahead of time as English is not my first language I will do my best so please excuse punctuations. I wanted to eat here first off because my children always refer to it as 'Daddy that's our diner' Our last...name is close to this business' hence their reason to associate it with our family name. Instead they were not around, it was late at night and a bunch of my colleagues from work went out. We were there with a party of about ...6/9 persons. Now, there were many kids there of different backgrounds. College ages. There were many groups making a ruckus , then again it's close to 2am. But we ALL noticed repeatedly who were being single out for being Loud . ( I'm a white male, I was with all white men and women) So there were a group of mixed races mostly African-American college age kids and there were a group of Caucasian or white college age kids. I must say both groups were rather loud but one group they were throwing things bending the silverware making rude jokes toward the waitresses Yet management didn't approach that group they approached the African-American tables not once not twice but if you time to let them know they were being loud. Here's the crazy part he literally made the comment that they were hopping around like a bunch of wild animals like a bunch of monkeys when he came back to the middle island register. We were appalled but are not get involved as they are in the process of leaving because they were thrown out. After I made a comment to my waitress about the situation 5 minutes later they did finally go through the other table but it was a slight whining nothing in comparison and when he came back there are no side, that's before this is very disturbing to me I waited a month or two after it happened because I was really really conflicted on what I should do and how I should approach the situation. This is the least of what I've could have done and that's why I decided to take it and decided to just make a reveal as opposed to slandering this restaurant all over media and social media. I am a medical professional Doctor from a nearby hospital which is within 30 kilometers. The other six or seven people I came with they refuse to bring their families what's now adds up to about 50 people and a few dot-dot-dot a lot of my other co-worker if you choose to go there after we've told him about this and apparently other than this six or seven of us witnessing this, two other nurses at the hospital have had similar situations with the way they were treated at this establishment I wonder if anyone else has too much stories I have found some through Facebook and other websites but I guess I'm looking for something as blatant as this I got I'm really trying not to put this on social media I don't want to ruin and their business but at the same time with this type of attitude I feel like maybe they don't care maybe they feel like emboldened or Dan such a high horse where they feel like they are busy enough do not need quote on quote certain people I'm still annoyed a couple months later.More

If you are on 9w or 84, drop by Newburgh for a bite that will fill your travel weary stomachs. The place is huge so you can’t miss it. The food is always fresh because of the quick turnover. As you can see the platters...are big and hot. I stopped there with two teenagers and they got what they wanted and were very happy.More

The waitresses are great, but the management is the worst I've ever experienced. We ate there twice, and both times the line waiting to be seated grew and grew while it was just flat ignored. Elderly people, children and even a gentleman with a disability...were left to stand (there are no seats for people waiting) for a good fifteen minutes, while there were numerous empty booths and tables. It felt like there was a certain arrogance by management, that people wouldn't leave so why hustle to take care of them? They should let the wait staff run the place. The food was meh at best: good fries and pickles, not great tasting eggs and very dry, tasteless, overcooked burger.More

Convenient location, extensive menu of items to choose from including all day breakfast, they do serve alcoholic beverages and their desserts are a wide variety including a huge selection of multiple cakes and pies and believe me they are eye popping for eating in or...take out. The desserts remind me of when I went to the bakery as a kid. The diner has table and booth seating & is on a large size room scale with multiple sections so seating is easy to come by and the wait time was less than 5 minutes to be seated. The staff is tremendous, courteous and on top of their game and are very attentive to your service needs. The food orders come out quick and are well prepared. Prices are reasonable. Overall, it is a must stop if your in that area especially during the fall season with all the farms that are nearby for apple and pumpkin picking season. Highly recommend this diner. My family enjoyed every moment of their meal.More
