About
We miss Croatia. We miss the smell of the sea, the fishing culture and the sounds of our mothers grilling whatever was freshly caught in the morning. We miss being in a land where football is played with feet. Despite the Croatian affinity for the sea, it's difficult for us to go home as much as we want to, so we did the next best thing, we brought our home to us and established Dubrovnik Restaurant. Since opening, our goal has been to make you love Croatia as much as we do. We are committed to bringing the best of Croatia to New Rochelle, even if just for a few hours. Dubrovnik features the best of Croatian cuisine, including succulent meat roasts, fresh grilled fish and a variety of other

We've been here many times and never been disappointed. The fish is always excellent and the menu has lots of interesting options. The service is always fast, friendly and helpful and Jerry, the owner, is on top of things always.

I had an appointment at the Marriott Residence Inn in New Rochelle at 11 am so thought I would grab lunch afterwards. What a great find was the Dubrovnik Restaurant! The friendly bartender, Bercy, explained about the Croatian basis for the restaurant and the food...and wine. Hard to decide from all the choices but the seafood pasta was a home run, out of the park. Also I got to taste the home made red and white wines but best of all the prices were reasonable. Need to round up some friends to try a dinner downstairs in the wine cellar. It is a half hour drive but already scheduling my next visit.More

Dubrovnik's is always delicious. My daughter and I went for lunch. We had the restaurant to ourselves this day. I have had the Branzino before and as always it did not disappoint. I had the Cabbage Salad and a Blueberry Tea, then orefered a Mint...Tea. My daughter tried something new, she ordered the Cevapcici, she said it was just ok. She also had the Cherry Liqueur. I tasted it, it was strong but good. You can taste the Cherry in it. I love Dubrovnik's.More

You just have to visit Dubrovnik. Their fish is sooooo fresh, and they have unusual stuff like fatty tuna. Dubrovnik is absolutely the best restaurant in New Rochelle

My family loves this place. They always have beautiful, fresh options and multiple options for specials as well as regular entrees. I would recommend you start with the Dalmatian platter, and the beet salad is excellent. We loved the grilled sardines, branzino, linguine and shellfish,...and the tuna belly. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!More

I had been hearing about this local place for awhile. Finally had a girls night here. OMG, it was so good. The salad, the fish and dessert were excellent. Things were prepared a bit different from my norm and I had never had Croatian food...but I liked everything I tasted. In addition the staff were great at explaining the menu. I can't wait to go back with my husband. One piece of advice would be to make reservations. They get really crowded on weekend nights.More

We went to Dubrovnik for the first time to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We were treated so well and so expertly. We throughly enjoyed the Croatian dishes...cuttlefish risotto and the czepici sp? (delicious sausage shaped seasoned hamburger). All the food from steaks, chicken and...bronzino were delicious. Service was so friendly!! Will definitely go back!!!More

Went there 6-7 years ago. Bad service and not impressed with the food. But now read that it is rated by Michelin as Bib Gourmand, just below one star. Only one of 8 restaurants in Westchester County, a new area of coverage for Michelin. So,...second chance. Well, service very nice. No doubt. But Michelin has to staff up, because these Westchester reviews lead to disappointed customers. First, restaurant prides itself on fresh fish, but then one of its main sellers is scorpion fish, which comes from the Indian or South Pacific Ocean and will hardly be fresh by the time it reaches the East Coast. Yet, we were going to share one. $68 for a two-pounder. Of course, waiter came back and said no more two-pounders, Now we would have to order 2.5 lbs for $80. No way! Accident? I think not. So we both ordered the scallops with grilled vegetables. Scallops seared too much and bitter as a result. On top, way, way, way too much salt on all the food. Now, I like salt a lot, but this was way too much for me. Dessert was a crepe with pear jam. Really no flavor and the pear jam was no jam, but more likely just some boiled pears with a little sugar. Flavorless. All in all, inadequate food for a huge price tag.More
