On a col, rainy evening, Garvan’s was a warm, cozy and delicious place for dinner. Seated promptly, with good service throughout the evening, we were all pleased with our meals. We topped off the evening sharing Garvan’s wife’s Guinness chocolate cake— yum!

Garvan’s is one of our favorite places to eat in New Paltz. Owner Garvan is friendly to all and remembers your name. We enjoy the Irish music on certain nights, especially Mary Stuart once a month, and the Irish home cooking.

Yes. Children would be welcomed. I don't recall every noticing a child's menu. I have never seen children in the area near the bad, but I have seen families in the ante-rooms
