The staff is willing, usually friendly and the layout is interesting. The menu is standard for this chain.

Do not come here & do not work here they will cut your hours fully for no reason and if your not of spanish ethnicity they will treat you different. Almost all the staff & managers there play around and talk but never serve the food correctly. Terrible experience to be there as a customer and wouldn’t recommend anybody working there as a staff / cashier trust me these people are nasty and do not care about nobody especially the managers. Its a terrible mcdonalds and always closes early when its not even near the closing hour. Only 2 or 3 employees there are actually good except for the rest which is sad im friends with a manager there and she tells me all the things that go down behind closed doors. And their english is terrible i dont see how they go far with communication here its so annoying and unprofessional i get my order wrong almost all the time and even wait too long for it. They need learn some proper english and hire better staff who arent lazy and playing loud music from their phones while working. Completely inconsiderate , unprofessional, and racist.

I am an international student from Vietnam. Many of my friends from back home told me to go to this place since the decor is awesome and review to them. However, when I arrived, because McDonald in my country, we often order in the cashier table. But in here, people order through the board. I did not know how to order so I asked a guy worked in the cashier area and he helped me. However, when I got a tent to wait and they will bring in the table to me, nobody brought any food for me since I just order one ice cream and one coke. I had to wait for so long and still nobody brought anything and I had to come and asked them. The next table that is near me, they ordered nearly the same time and got the food with away and they ordered a lot of food. I feel horrible because I came to a new country and got treated differently. It makes my memory in New Hyde Park horrible and I live just near there, I live in Garden City.

Does anyone actually work here? The service was terrible. We ended up leaving without our order because the staff was in the back.

Service was fantastic. It was free fries day. Place was busy. Manager had everything under control and was able keep things moving and answer people’s questions. Thanks for the fries. Everything was great.

Drove here to see the Denton Mansion that Mcdonalds bought and transformed into a restaurant. Very nice to look at. Worst hamburgers I ever ate.

Purchased 2 happy meals. Went home and one order was completely wrong. Had to go all the back. The service here is not what McDonald's used to be. How hard is it to pack what was ordered.

I know that the Historic Denton House has been open for over 20 years now, but it never fails to grab my attention whenever I drive down Jericho Turnpike. I'm sure it is a destination eatery for many families. McDonald's should continue the restoration and conversion of historic places of interest into stores, thus saving them from the wrecking ball. This McDonald's is a wonderful place to have your fries with that burger.

What sets this restaurant apart from other McDonald's is the beautiful building in which it is located. The restaurant is in a restored 1920's colonial mansion. The inside and outside are beautiful. You can order either at the counter or on a touch-screen. The food is what you expect at McDonald's.

This unique and quite beautiful McDonald's used to be a residential home called the Denton House. It's a Georgian styled mansion from 1895 which was in disrepair in 1985 where McDonald's purchased it and turned it into a eatery in 1991. Recently the place is been renovated (2016), guess celebrating 25yrs of happy patrons local and many visitors who make their journey to see this unquestionably most unique McDonald's here in Long Island New York. This McDonald's has also been featured in a documentary about the most unique McDonald's around the world. Since renovated it has a contemporary decor to keep up with the modern fast food looks but on the outside still resembles the old architecture of the past. Come check it out and be amazed! Happy Eating and I'll see you around the table when I crave my Big Mac, French Fries & Coffee, yes my .99 cent large java!
