I don’t always go here but when I do I’m hardly disappointed. It’s very rare to find a decent Chinese restaurant these days. Everyone has go to takeout. It’s nice to be able to sit down and have the dine in experience. The food comes out hot and tasty. Never had a dish I didn’t enjoy. It’s a bit more expensive than other places and that’s the only reason I deducted one star. If you want really good Chinese food you owe it to yourself to go here.

This is the best Chinese food in New City! The portions are generous. We get take-out form Mandarin about once a week!

They were good prior but not tonight. Left item out of bag that we were charged for. Had to go back and drove 15 minutes each way. Not apologetic. Food cold. Orange beef congealed and bad. Bad sesame chicken.

Mandarin is practically part of our weekly menu. Since the closing of Jade Village we found this to be the best place in Rockland for piping hot good Chinese food. Staples are Egg fu Yong, orange beef and sesame chicken. Prices are not bad either

Very good for traditional Chinese dishes Americans are used to. Very tasty, well prepared and nicely plated. Treat yourself and try something from the menu you haven't experienced yet. You' be rewarded.

All generations will be pleased with this place. From families to lovers, all are treated well. The food is excellent with some nice surprises on the menu (you'll see). Efficient service and decent prices as well as good portions are the reason the place has been here for so many years. Where can you get mixed wonton with egg drop soup? They have the classics and everything in between. Very Clean with actual table cloths changed after every meal. Give it a try!

need another in jersey , or I will have to move to rockland. huge portions at a very fair price. fast service , and no rush to get you out . very clean and and super nice staff. my girlfriend loves I , and the oranges are a great touch .. we go at least 3-4 times a month

great west indian restaurant. The bonus is that they have mango chow that you can order off the menu (once in season of course)

This is our go to place when we crave Chinese food. The takeout is always fresh and ready for pickup when promised. Most importantly, the food is delicious!

Seems like they change their chef.. My son loved this place before and we go there when we crave for Chinese food. Last time food was tasteless and seems more like take out food...Have not gone back since.

Great for eat in or take out. We've been going there for decades and taking out just as long. Never more than a 15 minute wait. Under new ownership, but food is still pretty good. Several of the wait staff have been there for years.

;This restaurant has been in town for many, many years. It is never crowded for lunch or dinner, so it is quiet and easy to converse with others at your table. You can enjoy a reasonable meal before or after a show at the Bow-Tie Cinema in the same shopping center, and always ample parking. Although this is not gourmet dining, the food is always tasty. Lunch specials and good. If you call for take-out, it will be ready when you get there.

When George retired and sold the place, two things happened. The prices went up at least 25%, and the quality of the food went down by at least that much as well. Not like it used to be, although the egg rolls are still the best in New City.
