You will need to find parking on the street as the restaurant only offers two spots. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. However the food is grossly overpriced for. We had two chicken sandwiches, 1 hamburger 2 coffees and a sprite off the lunch menu. Our total bill was $52. Average it out that is $17.33 a person... More

I came to Gerard's River Grill with my girlfriend this past weekend and the place was fairly empty yet we had to wait an hour for our food to come after ordering it. We ordered similar meals that were fairly simple to make so we were surprised at how long we had to wait. The cost of the food here... More

The food was good and the service was fine. Unfortunately, there was an open door and many annoying and persistent flies were continuously buzzing our table and our food. I mentioned this to our server and just got a vacuous stare and comment about the open door; as though that was a necessary condition of eating there. So I would... More

Very popular and crowded with an up-scale crowd. Good food and attentive service, but parking is a problem - on street nearby or a bank parking lot after banki closes about a block away.

Made reservation for Sunday brunch. Traveled 25 miles. Wanted table on deck outside due to bringing our dog. Called on the way as traffic held us up. Restaurant said not to worry. Arrived 10 minutes late. Our table was given away and the staff had no back-up plan. No effort to work with us other than a soft 'sorry' and... More

We were staying at Ecce and lost our way to this restaurant after already moving our reservation from 7:30 to 8:30. We called the restaurant in desperation at 9 and explained where we were. Although they close at 9:30 they directed our party of 8 to their restaurant knowing that we were at least 45 minutes away. Upon arrival at... More

I had dinner there twice in one week! Everything was excellent ! During the week you can just go, but for the weekend you definitely need a reservation ! Gerard came always to talk with us, to check how is the food . Nice terrace , possible to sit outside !

This is one of the main reasons to go to Narrowsburg. This sandwich is worth traveling for 1/2 an hour. We are also partial to his squash blossoms and his artichokes. The Italian food is quite good, but I generally don't go to Narrowsburg for good in red gravy. Recently went across the street to the Heron and now have... More
