was sad to see Gerard's closing as of 10/16. we stopped in on 10/8 for our customary once a month; only to find out it was adieu. i have been in the area since 1959. a place like this and their competitor across the street were a breath of fresh air. hope something equal in value takes its place,

Tucked away in the quaint NE PA/SE NY area is Gerard's River Grill. Gerard the owner is a former chef at a casino. Having grown tired of the big stage, he moved to Narrowsberg and opened an upscale restaurant with a fine wine selection. The food is expertly prepared and offer a wide cuisine choice. Her eaten there 4 times... More

Just arrived in town, were looking for lighter fare like a burger for dinner and our B&B host sent us here. We're not sure why. It seemed like a nice restaurant, the menu selections were good, music being played was nice and we might have come back the next day to celebrate our anniversary (it looked like that kind of... Decided last Sunday, after attending the play 'Carmen' held at a small, local theatre around the block, to stop in to this attractive restaurant on the corner of the intersection that connects the steel bridge that leads to northeast Pennsylvania and the beginning of this area of NYS for a little bite to eat. Was greeted and seated promptly and... More

Narrowburg is fun to visit and having a restaurant of this quality is a bonus. We've been here before and really liked it, but were unprepared for the cranky hostess who balked at seating us away from a noisy group because it would ruin her plan. After some coaxing she did it anyway and then we waited. Despite a very... More

Family run restaurant which may explain slow service, however, the food was superb. Wine list could be more aggressive but considering where they are, it was adequate. Going back to area in September and hope to eat there most nights

I grew up and went to school in this town.. On a visit back, dinner at Gerard's was a delicious surprise. Terra Misto, Shrimp Adriatica, the Pasta Fagoli (deelish!👍)...🍷my favorite was the Pappardelle Bolognese ..it sang to my Italian tastebuds! A pricey Artichoke @ $14 was a takeaway for the 2:00am snack, but otherwise a truly happy and tasty dining... More
