Arrived on time for a 7:00 reservation. Young man inside told us to sit at the table of our choice. No menu given to us, no water, no wait staff. Waited 10 minutes and left. The waitress never even acknowledged us. Never returning. Very disappointed.

The food here is excellent! Dining inside or out, there are nice views of the river, and the service is friendly and very good. The chef and owner, Gerard Manzi, creates wonderful dishes from locally sourced foods. He takes great pride in serving the best. Brunches are yummy, and dinners are delicious. The salmon scramble at brunch is very good,... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of ingredients, delicious, well-prepared and dishes - with ample portions! Equally impressive was well as the great service - including a tableside greeting from the chef - a rare and welcome touch. Coming from Chicago, I do not agree with other comments that this meal was expensive for what was offered, and actually... More

I took a crowd of ten people here the night I moved into my new home. There were five adults, four teenagers and a six year old. Everyone found something they liked on the menu. The food was fantasic, the service was good. Very expensive, NYC prices.

I visited here with a friend visiting from Los Angeles. I had the wild mushroom soup du jour, an exquisite salad and a light fluffy decadent tiramisu. This coupled with a deep and floral rioja wine made for a perfect luncheon. The table visit from the chef was an added treat.

We met friends for supper here - first visit for all of us. The parking was no problem, since it was a weekday. But our GPS took us around the corner to Main St, where we parked then walked to find the restaurant, The service and staff were definitely a 5 rating! The table linens and settings were great as... You will need to find parking on the street as the restaurant only offers two spots. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. However the food is grossly overpriced for. We had two chicken sandwiches, 1 hamburger 2 coffees and a sprite off the lunch menu. Our total bill was $52. Average it out that is $17.33 a person... More

I came to Gerard's River Grill with my girlfriend this past weekend and the place was fairly empty yet we had to wait an hour for our food to come after ordering it. We ordered similar meals that were fairly simple to make so we were surprised at how long we had to wait. The cost of the food here... More

The food was good and the service was fine. Unfortunately, there was an open door and many annoying and persistent flies were continuously buzzing our table and our food. I mentioned this to our server and just got a vacuous stare and comment about the open door; as though that was a necessary condition of eating there. So I would... More

Very popular and crowded with an up-scale crowd. Good food and attentive service, but parking is a problem - on street nearby or a bank parking lot after banki closes about a block away.
