High Banks Tavern is a neighborhood restaurant & bar focusing on great food & beverage, entertainment, atmosphere and outstanding service. We prided ourselves on being an important part of Main Street and the community. We serve a full lunch, dinner and late night menu. The menu is a traditional American tavern style fare featuring standby classics, as well as more innovative dishes. We will offer a broad beer and wine selection, showcasing local microbreweries and wineries from New York State, as well as a creative cocktail menu. For those in search of the big game, we will carry every sporting package a guest could wish for. We will also be a great venue to host any special event such as: birthday parties, company luncheons, going away parties, and many more. Due to travel difficulties, we were searching for a place to eat at 8 pm on a weekday night in Mount Morris, NY. We had a delicious pub meal at High Banks Tavern, which was popular with locals the night we stopped. Service was impeccable, the waitress gracious and helpful. A very fresh, crisp salad accompanied our order of stuffed shells, a dish made fresh with delicious marinara, creamy ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. A variety of beers were available too. We highly recommend the High Banks Tavern.

We'd been here before and enjoyed the food. I got a Buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings as my chosen side. The wrap was very good and the rings were excellent - very crispy and delicious. Others got burgers, wings, sandwiches, loaded fries - and all were happy with their choices.

Stopped here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in late October just doing some leaf peeping and looking for pumpkins. The village of Mt Morris has really spruced up! Charred is your typical nice clean pub, service was very good, food was good, and place was pretty full. At first they said we couldn't combine two small sit down tables and we had a party of 4 but the manager said don't worry about it and we did so that was nice of her. Good place to stop.

I stopped in for a a late dinner on my way home last night. I had checked their website and it states open until 10pm. Great I thought! I was starving!
I arrived at 9:15 and asked for a hard cider. All out. So I ordered the house white Zin. Barkeep couldn’t find enough for a full glass, so she didn’t charge me for the partial glass.
Then I asked for a menu and was told the kitchen closed at 9pm!!! WTH? Barkeep made no offer *anything*. Not even stuff that was just sitting on a shelf or in fridge. I
understand ending ordering a reasonable time before closing, but a full hour??? I felt deceived. There was nothing obvious about this policy on their website.
There are not very many good pubs in the area and based on a couple reviews, sounded like it could be good.
But I don’t like being lied to or being subject to bait and switch advertising, so I will not be given this place another chance.

We recently ate a High Banks Tavern while on a trip to Mount Morris. The restaurant was conveniently located within walking distance from where we were staying. My husband enjoyed a Letchworth burger and Cole slaw. I had a French dip with tater tots. The tots were more like hash browns because they kept breaking apart when I tried to pick them up with my fork. The roast beef was good. Service was average.

My sister and I were in the area going to visit Letchworth State Park and decided to stop by here for a few cold ones. We didn't order food but it looked to be good! We sat at a table outside and enjoyed the main street in this quaint little town. Bartender was super friendly as we walked in and provided us with great service! Next time we'll have to grab a bite!

Went to High Banks as I live in Mount Morris but also my neighbor was playing in a band there for live music. I sat at the bar and was promptly attended to throughout my visit and the employees were very nice. I ordered some wings - they were very very good and some onion rings - again, very good. had a pint of beer and had a very nice relaxing music and enjoyed the people around me. I have been to the High Banks before and the food was great then too. Totally recommend!

I had several dismal visits in the past, but was told new owner has made positive changes, and indeed they have, just a great meal, super nice wait staff, esp. Heather. She made a concoction for my friend just perfectly. Great beer selection, as well. After a day of hiking Letchworth, it was a relaxing atmosphere, and a super good Ruben !! Highly recommended.

Enjoyed some nice wings and a good burger while watching a baseball game. Food was tasty and service from Heather was very good. Place was packed but Heather made the wait worth it by helping us tune in our game!

Wonderful place. Came in late. The kitchen was closed as it was 9:20. They were very solicitous. The beer selection was great and I got a comped drink. I thought that was pretty cool! I came back the next day and found the food to be totally worth the wait.

Great restaurant in the little town of Mt. Morris, NY. They have several local craft beers. Nice menu of burgers, sandwiches, etc... I got the rodeo burger, very good! Their homemade coleslaw was awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Nice spot to have a Rodeo burger and a Bacon Ranch Chicken wrap. A couple of drinks too. The waitress was excellent, she was a hustler taking care of all the patrons and the bar drinks.

I go there often. They have excellent food here. I have always been satisfied. But I had a fish fry with onion rings that was soaked in grease. My thought is that I had the first one of the day and the fryer was not fully to temperature. I should have sent it back. I took it home and later warmed the fish. It was still super greasy.I will suggest the prime rib salad.
