Gerardo's always serves up a generous and good tasting meal that will be plenty for lunch tomorrow. Pizzas are good to very good and Grandma's Pie is excellent! Portions are generous and include hot / tasty bread / salad and pasta sides. Pasta Extravaganza on...Wednesdays is a great value ($11.95) Try the Rigatoni Bolognese or CAVATELLI OR ORECCHIETTE With broccoli rabe, garlic and oil Add sausage. Again, generous in quantity and tasty like Momma's. Service is "quirky" but once you get to know them its all in fun and you get treated like family. I can certainly see why someone who "walks in off the street" might find it "odd" or "rude" but its all a facade..LOL.More

We ordered 35.00 dollars worth of food...and prepaid before we got there. We were directed to this establishment by the staff of the hospital a block or so down. Our daughter just had major surgery and so my husband wanted to pick up the order...and get right back with it. While being there he decided he wanted to add something to the order. Fella heated it up and when my husband went to pay he said there is a ten dollar minimum charge for cards. So my husband explained to him he didn't have cash on him....and that our daughter just had surgery. He said "so sorry" and took the pizza roll back. I tried to call and speak with the owner to no avail, to let him know how disappointed we were and was told policy is policy...I could see if we had just wanted the one thing...but after spending all that money there he couldn't make an exception? Shame on you as our daughter will be here for a bit and you just lost what would have been a good customer....Burger place across the street from you will now be our food source during her stay.More

Found it by accident when we needed a break after endless delays driving out of Kennedy. The pizzas looked delicious but we settled for two hearty and flavorful salads.

Walked into this place with my two kids looking for a place off the highway on our road trip.. the people there were so rude and i'M from nyc.. the guy seemed to he very upset when my son could not make up his mind......my autistic son... then when the pizza was ready they just yelled over the counter for us to come get it and bring it to the table ourselves which i guess was how they did things ... but when we asked for a silver fork and knife to cut the chicken roll we ordered they told us they only give silverware to people who order real food... then finally when we were leaving we had some pizza left and my 11year old autistic child carried the pizza pie to the counter and asked them to pack it up.. the man behind the counter just put the pizza box on top of the pizza and told my son he had to do it himself ... i thought it was just me but i found many reviews on other sites complaining about the same attitude. .More
