Date Night with Husband

I had the Pork Osso Buco which was amazing and so filling I had to bring half of my dinner home. My husband had the Colossal Lobster stuffed shrimp which he also enjoyed tremendously and would highly recommend. Our dessert choice was the Chocolate Creme Brulee. I was sorry we decided to share instead of ordering two! It was fabulous! Our waitress Tara was very attentive and accommodating. Can't wait to return!

Incredible meal and service!

We had made a resevration for outdoor dining. The night we were there, they were fully booked, but had a table for us as we had requested. It was 50 degress that night. They were able to move inside after about 30 minutes. Very accommodating! Barba was wonderful with great recommendations. Seafood bisque was awesome, as was Thai Scallops and Shrimp. Well run restaurant. I read other reviews that said it is a local hangout. It is. Everyone seemed to know everyone, but we were treated well, and never felt like an outsider as other reviews suggested.

Friendly staff, good food,house salad with meals great,bread & butter good, I had chicken (with prosciutto i which i didnt c but good anyway.) Chicken parm he had good also.Desserts they show u on a tray all look great.Wheel chair ramp in back,front steps better than side ones need repair unstable. Inside remodeled clean look nice. I would go back again!!!!!

I will start by saying there were 10 of us. Our waitress was terrific. She to paid attention to our needs throughout the evening. The french onion soup was delicious. Most of us enjoyed the entree, but most of us did not have enough sauce on any of our dishes. My husband had the shrimp & lobster risotto.He eats a lot of risotto. It is unfortunate to spend this much money, & not enjoy your meal. It looked like rice soup & there was no taste. He couldn't even say it was ok. We did not enjoy it enough to come back.

Went on 2-1-20 at 4:30 PM. Reservations not required. Empty dining rooms. Told by hostess earliest seating was 8:15 pm without reservations. Change policy, update website. Disappointed and not certain why a group of 3 couldn’t be accommodated in 100% empty dining rooms regardless of the party upstairs. Not certain I would try again. Disappointed long term Village of Montgomery resident.

Good food but rushed out

The food was very good but the service was sub par. The staff was over attentive and gave us the feeling that they were trying to rush us out the door. It wasn't crowded and there was no need to stop by our table every few minutes to ask if we were done and if they could clear some plates. Between the server, water guy and another young lady asking to take our dishes we felt like we were an imposition there. Not a relaxing experience.

Great find in Montgomery, NY. Cozy, local spot with quality food and friendly service. Breaded pork with spaetzle was really good, French Onion soup outstanding. Good value too.

Great meal experience

This is an excellent restaurant. It has a great atmosphere. Front part has a nice cozy, old-fashioned bar. Service is superb. Meal choices are delicious and amazing. Make sure you make a reservation.

Delicious food, drinks, beautiful ambience

Amazing spot for a date night! The drinks were delicious. Highly recommend their espresso martini. We loved the vibe of the place. Definitely make a reservation! We will be back :)

Poor customer service

Unprofessional, the restaurant is completely empty and they say there’s a 45 minute wait on a Wednesday. Customer service is definitely not top priority especially to locals. We will not be coming back ever.

So much to choose from, went with the Mac and Cheese topped with the filet mignon! Wow, what a games change! The Mac and Cheese was creamy and delicious, but the Filet was so tender I didn’t need a knife at all, super tender, I’m sorry I didn’t get an order to go!

The meal was spot on, the service, especially in these times was also spot on! Very comfortable atmosphere, the food was cooked to perfection especially when you don’t have time to spare you want everything perfect, and it was!!

Birthday Bash Bomb!

Intimate Birthday dinner planned to relax and enjoy turned into a bomb! Normally a five star area restaurant but for our special celebration dinner it only rated three stars! I ordered the colossal lobster stuffed shrimp and my husband had the sirloin tips from the grill menu. The tips were done perfectly and tasted great but my shrimp was another story. Though the waitress told us to watch out - the plates were hot- mine was lukewarm. The shrimp were rubbery and the stuffing was mushy and not very appetizing. I tried to find some lobster taste in it but couldn’t. My meal was very disappointing. The service staff was attentive and tried to please us. The cocktails that were ordered were very good- strong and with a shaker! We also tried the Thai Chile Glazed Scallops as an appetizer and they were delicious but I was so disappointed with my shrimp. Tried as I might to enjoy our birthday bash dinner - mine turned out to be a bomb🙁- so sad.

Great Restaurant!

There was a storm and we lost electricity so went out for dinner. Wonderful hamburgers and fries! Nice homey atmosphere. Good service even though it was extremely busy since they were one of the few restaurants open due to the storm.
