This place used to be a nice little seaside lobster market/ restaurant that has changed owners and and is trying to be an upscale place for the people that don't mind the same food at twice the price.

Duryea's was our family favorite, and we visited again last night after missing a few summers. The dock has been renovated and the menu is more upscale now. We were happy to find the food was still amazing. Even something as humble as the French fry was way above average. Shared the seafood platter with four adults, and everyone was... More

Food was fair. We had to ask for and then wait for the umbrella to be raised in the noon sun. The server poured a drink on me and she and the hostess were more concerned about the wet seat than providing me with something to dry off with. There was no attempt to comp my meal and I had... More

11:50am on a Wednesday, Standing at the counter, I Ordered chowder, "$16 please". Why $16 when chowder is $12. It's for the water we are going to bring you. $4 for water when only ordering chowder and no mention they were doing so. "Ok you don't have to buy water". Very uncomfortable and too slick for my taste, so I... More

The old Duryeas was wonderful. This new and improved version was not at all to my liking or the other people in my group. Overpriced and pretentious. I guess the idea is to attract a more upscale clientele. The new owner is going to overprice himself out of business. Starting out with the $4.00 table water was just the beginning... More

Unclear ordering system. Trying to keep its 'casual' roots as clam shack but has become the worst of both worlds. For example, the menus are inconsistent and despite there being many waiters you have to fill in a form and take it to the front to order. This means that if you want to order bread during a meal you... More

We visited the restaurant on fathers day. Chose it mainly because they had dockage available so we could arrive on our boat after a day of fishing. we were greeted on the dock by a young man that was very friendly and assisted us with dock lines and securing the boat. we sat down at a great table right on... Hamptons hidden gem for an casual chic seafood beach restaurant. You are going into have one of the best location and food experience without a too noisy or too crowed place you usually have in the area. There is no reservations, and the deck deck was large enough to accommodate our boat. Service is professional, and the menu is as... More

My husband and I just returned from a weekend in Montauk and ate here this past Monday before we departed home. All I can say is the food was TERRIBLE! I was SOOOOOO disappointed since this was our third time eating here. Apparently, the restaurant is under new ownership. We did not know this when we arrived. In the past,... More
