Good food!

We sat outside for dinner. We went early around 5, and it wasn’t busy when we got there. By the time we left it was packed. We were there on a Wednesday. The linguine with clam sauce was not short on clams! It was scrumptious. I wish I could’ve eaten more. My husband had a steak which he enjoyed. He asked for medium well; it came out well. Not a deal breaker for him. Drinks were good. For an appetizer we tried their jerk wings. They are grilled instead of fried so they take a bit longer. They were delicious!! He even asked our server to leave the plate so he could dip his steak in the remaining sauce lol. Our server was very sweet and pleasant.

Unpretentious food and service with spectacular view!

This is an informal bar/ restaurant overlooking the ocean ( kind of a beer garden). The view is really great and the place has a good vibe. The food menu is quite limited (mostly fast food fried fish) but there are a few specials. I had the grilled tuna from the day's specials which was good, as were the crabcake appetizers. For whatever reason food and drinks are served on plastic utensils which was a bit disappointing. But despite it's unsophisticated style, this a great spot for an unpretentious lunch or dinner.

Beautiful views

Had drinks at the bar. Restaurant was closed for the season but bartender was wonderful. Very nice to talk to you. Had a nice time.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MEAN SERVICE

The service and staff at this place are absolutely horrible. They are incredibly rude, they rushed us the entire meal, and the food was inedible. Do not come here - save your money and go somewhere else. Staff is unprofessional and mean.

Rude ripoff

Used to be such a gem. Now- DONT order anything from the menu without asking the price. Our bill had an entree item for which we were charged $21 more than the price on the menu. Spoke to the manager- she said I “should have known” it would be “market price”. The right thing to do would have been to credit it back. That’s just good business. They’re simply rude, unprofessional, and trying to rip off the summer crowd.

Overpriced and mediocre food.

Over priced and mediocre food. You pay for the view and it has a lively crowd. The service wasn't friendly. $15 for a weak single shot mixed drink and $5 for a soda. Stay with simple food orders. Even the fried shrimp was overcooked and dark because I think the oil must have been overused. I wouldn't go back.

Best Jerk West Indies Wings .

Who would have guessed that I would get such wonderful Jerk wings in Montauk. Friendly service. A little pricey but our food was very good. It would have been nice to have been there at sunset.

One of the best places in montauk for happy hour and sunset is the Montauket. The frozen drinks pairs with this years mandatory “Cuomo apps” felt like old times.

One of Montauk's oldest.. Go for the sunset

This restaurant has been in Montauk since the 1920's. Once a rum runners hideout. Now THE PLACE to go to see spectacular sunsets and have a cocktail/beer with your neighbors and friends.

Beautiful spot for sunset

This laid back venue was perfect for the sunset. It was a good vibe and they had a great playlist. Two gripes: no bar snacks (meals only) and everything was served out of single use plastic. How can you look out onto such a beautiful view of the ocean and be actively destroying it because you can’t be bothered to do the dishes?! Come on.

Fun vibe, very good food

This restaurant was off the beaten path a bit and really gave you a neat secluded feeling. The bar is definitely an 'old time' local feeling place and was crowded. We sat out on the deck area and had mussels, broiled seafood platter, and a cheeseburger. All of the food was delicious and they have really good thick cut fries! Worth a visit!

The Montauket is a montauk tradition. It’s a montauk casual atmosphere with a flip flop beach feel. It is the best spot to watch the sunset with a cold drink in your hand.

Do not go there expecting food. Bar is great as are the bartenders. Kitchen is a joke they closed it on a Saturday night in July at 7:00 pm. Place ain’t want it use to be
