Great food, great experience

On a recent trip to Montauk we were craving some good Italian carbs and Pizza Village delivered, literally. Nothing complicated but all yummy. The pasta in garlic and oil was cooked to perfection. The Greek salad was a nice accompaniment as were the sauteed spinach and garlic bread. Ordering on line was a snap and our food was delivered within the stated timeline by a driver who followed all COVID safety guidelines. Highly recommend.

Long delivery time

We placed an lunch order for 2 pizzas and chicken nuggets to be delivered to our hotel. Was told a time upon ordering and delivery driver arrived almost an hour late with ice cold food. All would have tasted good if at least been luke warm. I suggest skipping delivery and picking up or try another place. No credit cards, cash only which is a negative!

Excellent pizza

No frills, but delicious pizza. We always make it a point to order two personal pies when visiting Montauk. Our little tradition is when we check in at our favorite hotel, the Aqualina, we put in our pizza order and unpack. The wait is long but soooo worth it. So we unpack and stroll around town to kill time. The pizza is truly the best. We can each eat our entire personal pie that’s how good this pizza is. My belly hurts but I keep eating. We have never been disappointed. I wish we had pizza this good where I live. As others have said, the wait is insanely long, but soooooo worth it. Put your order in and walk around town, or walk and hang on the beach to kill time.

We have very bad experience.

We have very bad experience. The man deals and order are a very confused. We order for fries, pizza slice and French fries. He told us it will take 45 minutes if we order vegetable pizza so we order for slices as he told it will takes 15 minutes. We waited more than 2 hours and when asked how much waiting time then he show us much rough attitude. We never saw Italian restaurant so that type attitude. We are very disappointed.

BEWARE: Epic 2hr 30min WAIT for Delivery on a Wednesday! Food just okay…

We ordered pizza delivery at 6pm on a Wednesday thinking we would get ahead of the rush. They said it would take 1 hr and 15 mins - fine and appreciate the heads up. After several failed phone calls to inquire on status (their phones were either off the hook or ringing off the hook), my husband went out to attempt to pick it up at 8pm. As he was on his way there, we got a call from the delivery person that it was out for delivery and would arrive in 7 mins. The food didn’t arrive until 8:30pm - almost 2:30 hours after I placed the order. The pizza was room temperature and the cheese was cold/hard. We had to reheat everything and actually cook the gluten free pizzas longer (seemed as if ingredients were merely warmed on the GF shell on it’s way out the door). Once reheated, the Sicilian and thin crust were a 6 or 7 out of 10. They could have been an 8 if it had arrived hot and fresh. The buffalo wings were pretty good reheated (they are coated FYI). The calamari didn’t weather the prolonged delivery and was cold, tough and coating/breading lacked any crispness. Better to pick up but still may have been a 2 hr wait — so proceed with caution…

Good Old-Fashioned Italian Food

Had a reputation for good food so we tried it for take-out on a rainy, chilly August night. We had eggplant parm with spaghetti, small salad, ziti primavera with sausage, and a cannoli. Bread came with the dinner and small packages of what appeared to be fresh ground parm. My partner enjoyed the ingredient rich eggplant; not the best, but good. Thought the sauce could have used a touch of sugar as it was acidic.(My palate is not as refined.) There was enough for multiple dinners. I had the sausage & veggie ziti. A huge portion with enough sausage to make 3 night's dinners. There was also broccoli, peppers, onions, olives and maybe more veggies. I thought it tasted very good. My criticism would be a preference for fried or grilled sausage. There was no crusty bite to it. The cannoli was a good dessert. Not the most delicate shell but very smooth filling and pretty sweet. Freshly filled when we ordered so the shell was crisp. Perfect for me. The person taking the order was a new employee and had to ask the others for the answers to my questions. And for some reason, I was a pain asking a lot about preparation. The prices were very reasonable. Cost around $50 for the 2 of us. We will return!

Disappointing

Got food to go. Order 2 dinners. The quality of the food was the same as I could get off a food truck. Very disappointed. They have been there forever and I have been there a few times over the past 40 years. Amazing how quality has become nonexistent. Will not be going back.

I callled to check on an order after an hour. The gentleman put me on hold for an extended time and informed us that it will be another hour until the order arrives. The employee was rude and inconsiderate. Waiting two hours for cold pizza and terrible customer experience is unacceptable.

Very Disappointed.

I have come here many times over the years. Maybe they are ok to get pizza to go but eating in was a disaster. They brought the wrong beer and then claimed they were out of the one we wanted. They forgot my salad, then brought the wrong one. Then I got my salad and they forgot to bring the dressing with it. It came out after I had eaten 1/3 of it. Then they charged the wrong amount for one of the entrees. Over charged. Will not go back.

Very slow delivery, ok pizza

We ordered delivery to our hotel. It took over 2 hour, a lot longer than the 45 minutes they said. By the time it came everything was cold. We ordered delivery here last year and it was nowhere near as I good as I remember. The grandma pizza ap was average at best and the regular pizza was good.

Amazing pizza

The grandma pizza is amazing here. We ordered in to our hotel one night during a blackout. It came even earlier than it said and everything was delicious. We ordered a Greek salad, a grandma pizza and buttered ziti. It was the best meal we had for the 4 days we were there.
