We had a great time here. We arrived an hour before our 1pm booking and they kindly gave us a lovely bed to use whilst the kids played in the sea. We then say down to eat. The kids options were excellent although not written down - you have to ask. Our food - lobster roll and butter milk chicken... More

The only perk to this place is the view for sunset. The lounge tables outside are comfortable for drinks but not ideal for eating. I would say the food is just ok not worth the $$. Good place to get a drink and maybe an appetizer but that's it! There are better places to eat. Our server made us put... More

I'll start with the cons so this can end on a good note. We had reservations but were shown a living room type outdoor area with couches and a low coffee table as our table. There were empty picnic tables but they were "reserved." I wondered if, with our reservations, we were getting a coffee table with no real place... More

The sand is a little rough on the feet, but nothing you can't handle and from what I remember there's not much parking around the area except on the street (and I'm not sure what Montauk rules are regarding that). We parked at a friends house and walked down. There's nothing but the water and sand, so if you want... More

We chose to sit outside and you are actually sitting on the sand looking onto the beach. The service was excellent and the food was tastefully prepared.

Ever go to a place where everyone is happy to be there, this is one such place. Wonderful summer vibe on the beach to dine at, indoors or out, it's just a fun spot. Less than world class cuisine server by a very good wait staff. Yes the place is the thing, not the food. I try and get back... More

Sorry but I miss the Sunset Saloon, in the same local as the now Navy Beach. You can't beat the sunsets at Navy Beach, but I find the food to be very expensive, and the wait staff to be junior and not well trained. We continue to go back for the view, only to be annoyed by the illusion that... More

Navy Beach is one of my favorite places to dine in Montauk. It is a relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful water view. Love the food. If you are hungry -- have the fried chicken. For small plates, I recommend the salmon tartare and the fluke ceviche (add the parm fries for a guilty pleasure treat) My favorite drink is the... More

This place is home to the most unreal sunset in all of the hamptons. Unfortunately it comes at an extremely high price tag, be prepared to shell out $20-$30 per plate and $15 per drink. However I would highly recommend hitting this spot around 8pm for a cocktail while watching the most amazing sunset! Parking is free and the staff... More
