The food at Tinney's is fine and the location is nice, but they have the president of the United State's face on the urinal, which is disturbing. We won't be back.

I came in with a party of 8 and were seated promptly at a reserved table. We were allowed to have a sample of beer before we ordered the pint. Good selection of craft beers available. The menu was varied with something for everyone. I ordered the fish and chips and was rather disappointed with my food. The portion appeared... More

Friends had been discussing the wood-fired pizza served here and an internet video of their pizza being baked. But other than one of them who had only been here a number of years ago under previous ownership, none of the others had. And so it was that we plugged the address into our car’s GPS for our first ever visit.... More

We decided at the last minute to go out to dinner this past Sunday. We decided to try Tinneys Tavern after hearing good things. We arrived at approximately 6:30 ish, seated ourselves. It took a while for the waitress to arrive at our table to deliver menus and order drinks. There were only two other tables eating at this time.... More

TInney's has new owners, and the food and the hospitality are outstanding. One of the new owners mentioned plans to incorporate a wood fired pizza oven. They also have some great local music, friendly staff, and one of the most scenic views you can find. Enjoyed the winter and can't wait to come back in the summer and fall!

Been there twice within the past month and both times the food was perfect- just the way we ordered it. The waitress/bartender from New Jersey was most courteous, friendly, professional and always exceeded our expectations. The view in the fall was absolutely magnificent and there was a bar full of men that were enjoying themselves and having a great time.... More

We have been going to Tinney's Tavern for a few years now. It has changed owners three times in the past few years. Each owner has had their own flair. We love the view and the pub food, friendly atmosphere and great wait staff. Owners of the Spring Street Deli have put together a nice menu and the food was... More

Went for a motorcycle ride 2-up from Saratoga to Tinney's in Lake Desolation to try the food now that it's under brand new ownership in 2014. It takes 15 min from downtown Saratoga Springs and is a gorgeous ride. Sat outside for lunch. I had the grilled chicken club sandwich and she had a veggie burger. The owners run the... More
