After about a year of knowing about La Margherita, I finally head the opportunity to come for dinner. What a nice new find for us.
We started off with the whole baked clams (6) that were nice and moist and delicious along with the fried calamari appetizer. These are rings only, served with a nice portion of marinara, crispy and tender. We also had a margherita pie which was from the brick oven.
For dinner, we ordered the orecchiette with a broccoli rab pesto sauce which was just amazingly delicious. We also had the shrimp scampi which were enjoyed thoroughly.
I ordered the seafood marinara combination with linguini, fragrant diavlo. The dish was delicious with plenty of muscles, 2 clams, 2 shrimp and calamari. I felt that there could have been a little more past in the dish, but besides that, it was very delicious and loaded with flavor. Or certainly isn't worth losing a star.
AJ was our waiter. He was helpful with recommendations and the food came out timely. I did find it hard to get his attention a couple of times, but he was still very good. We even had a moment to talk with one of the owners as well which was enjoyable.
All in all, La Margherita is a very lovely restaurant with a nice feel of Italy. The word often is amazing and the fireplace a very nice touch. The food is amazing, service very good and the experience just wonderful. I woo be back akin and I highly recommend La Margherita!

Our family had dinner in this outstanding Italian restaurant. Without a doubt they served great array of oven fresh pizza. I had an appetizer consist of mussels with red sauce while my wife had a Margherita personal pizza size as we are going to share. As appetizer we had two orders of fried calamari which are fresh and delicious. Our family also had the three orders of La Capricciosa pizzas (recommended). By the way our server Sarah is very good, courteous and funny.
We will be back when we have a chance.

Another awesome dinner at La Margherita! Tonight we started with a half bottle of Caberne Savignone.....spelled correctly????
We ordered a brick oven Margherita pizza to start. It was so delicious and crisp. For dinner, I had my usual, veal Parmigiano which was outstanding and plentiful. And leftovers too! My wife ordered the eggplant rollatini which she enjoyed too.
The dishes were hot and cheesy! John Michael, our waiter was great, very personable and full of energy, we had a great time tonight!
The food is excellent, enjoy!

There is so much to like about this place. The food is really good and the people are so friendly who work there. No matter what we order, we enjoy it! The dining room is inviting and service in it great. Definitely worth checking it out for any of the pizzas they have or there dinner menu.

Got one woodfired and one 'regular' pizza for take out-SOOOO good! Everything looked amazing (many prepared pizzas-buy by the slice available). It was super busy the evening we went (hence the take out).

It is hard to believe that in these day of no cash that this place charges 4% for using you charge card even if it is a debit card!!

had dinner there twice while in town. Food and service were excellent both time. Close to Spring Hill Suites which is a bonus.

One of our regular stops where we ALWAYS get a beautiful wood cooked Margherita style pizza with dinner. We went there once in a snowstorm and sat across from the fireplace....classic!

Great and big restaurant with two different areas: one for slide pizza and one dedicated to the classical round pizza with many other dishes on the menu.
The staff is all nice, polite and helpful. We were there with a baby and they had been so sweet with her. Thanks Britney.
The pizza was absolutely very good.
I had pizza in Manhattan, Brooklyn but for Long Island I can truly said that this is the best pizza! So good! We had a desert that was very good as well and a homemade limoncello that just ended our dinner perfectly.
I am so happy I found this place, it will be my place for pizza in Long Island for ever.
It is a family restaurant, a young generation of Italian-Americans, great people. Thank you very much Anthony.

I was told that the brick oven pizza at this location is as good as any on Long Island.
I was not disappointed. The la margherita pizza was superb.
Very reasonably priced. All fresh ingredients.
A must try if you're in the area!

Stopped in for a slice. Great selection. Had the sausage & pepperoni. Thin crisp crust with cheese that wasn't too stringy. Glad I found this place
