Andriaccio's Restaurant was established in 1982 and great food continues to be our family tradition. We are located within walking distance and across from the world famous Chautauqua Institution. We take pride and are commited to providing fresh homemade foods, using local produce and products whenever available. We offer full bar service, outside patio dining and live music during the summer season. First time, but won't be the last

Although we've driven by this restaurant many times, we never stopped in, but today was different in that we saw they were open outside during the current pandemic and so there was no excuse to not stop and try it. The only unfortunate part is that we waited until now because this is a great place. I had the chicken parmesan and my wife, Mary, had the mahi mahi and both came out quickly and piping hot and boy were they delicious! Brian was our server and he took very good care of us. The food, service and atmosphere were nothing less than excellent. Even though we live in Erie, we can easily say that we will try to stop here whenever we are in the Mayville and Chautauqua Institute area.

Local Italian place

This is an Italian restaurant . They serve a number of dishes from pizza to fish fry. There is a full service bar. The service is good. I had eggplant Parmesan which was good. It was served with choice of sides. I chose the spaghetti, the sauce was just ok. My husband had a small pizza with cheese and pepperoni , he said it was good. The other couple had a large pizza with just about everything on it. The liked it and took part of it home. There is also a little patio out back. It’s owned by a local family and was started by the father and now run by other family members. It started out as a gas station and has grown much larger now. They have takeout and delivery.

Andriaccios Family Dining Done Right

Andriaccios was so good the first night we returned the following evening. Dinner #1 was a small cheese-less pepperoni pizza and the vegan-burger bowl. Both were enjoyed immensely. And Sara B was a great server. Night #2 Sara B was our server again welcoming us and remembering our drink order. We enjoyed cavatappi with marinara sauce and sausage (the sausage was wonderful and made in-house. We highly recommend Andriaccios, it is part of the Chautauqua experience plus it is walking distance.

Delicious Food

We stayed at the Chautauqua Institution and tried Andriaccios after having it recommended, we ordered takeout online and were surprised how packed the parking lot was. After eating the food, it was clear why. The food was hot and incredibly tasty, and there was a short delay due to being busy but it was understandable and they were very kind about it

Good Italian Food

We were tired of the hotel restaurant & wanted to get out. Since it was out of season, not a lot of places were open-especially on a Sun evening. We stumbled across this restaurant while driving & all the reviews & menu looked good. We were greeted immediately, very friendly. Restaurant wasn't crowded then but it was as we were leaving, so must be popular. Everyone seemed to know the staff. We ordered 2 different soups & asked if we could split a dinner since we were leaving the area the next morning. No problem-very accommodating. Shrimp Portofino was delicious. I would get it again. Small issues with service. Ordered iced tea -asked if we wanted lemon but then never got lemon. Were told fresh bread was in oven for us but then we never got the bread at all. Two of same soup came but then they did bring a 3rd correct soup which filled up my partner. Brewed us fresh pot of coffee for after dinner. Overall minor glitches. The food was excellent so was weel worth it & prices were reasonable.

Overcharged and treated badly

Our group from church in Erie stopped for lunch. The food was good. Unfortunately, my credit card was overcharged significantly by almost double! When I noticed the error, I called immediately. It took several days and as many phone calls to obtain a response. The owner, Jake was abrupt, offered no apology and because of his manner I asked that the cost of my meal...$14.04 be waived as a "good-will gesture". He said absolutely not and ended the conversation. That was no way to handle a dispute or treat a first time customer. Needless to say, our entire group and leaders now have knowledge of this unpleasant encounter. It's a shame!

Great Takeout - convenient to pick up and tasty food!

In looking for a spot for takeout with people of various dietary needs, Andriaccios will fit the bill. The salad and fish were both amazing and we got exactly what we were looking for. The menu had so many different types of choices and I can't wait to try the actual more traditional Italian food another time!

Too expensive for what you get, no salad or garlic bread with your Lunch I do not know about dinner. Terrible

Too expensive for what you get!! Chicken parmesan the outside edge of the chicken was over done and you get a little portion of spaghetti with it for $23 no garlic bread no salad. when ordering Lasagna that is all you get a piece of Lasagna no garlic bread no salad too expensive for what you get. Do yourself a favor and pick a different place to eat. We were there on a Sunday for Lunch it advertises on websites Italian specialties, char broiled steak, seafood, and gourmet pizzas, but it does not say steaks and seafood are after 4pm for dinner, these are not offered for lunch. If you have men who like big portions this is not the place to go!!!

Part Good - Part Terrible

Sunday Evening 7/30/23. The "special" appetizer of stuffed mushrooms was very good. The Italian Sausage Calzone was terrible, obviously prepared by someone totally inept. The diced peppers and onions within, instead of being sauteed as they should have been, were totally raw. See any recipe for Italian FRIED sausage, peppers and onions to learn how it should be done. My complaint on the condition was met with an insiped "Oh, I'm sorry you didn't like it" with no offer to correct it. A failure on the chance to make a good impression.

Not the same as it used to be!

Have been visiting Andriaccio’s since the ‘90’s when we worked at the Athenaeum Hotel. Had great memories of good affordable pizza and friendly staff (who often bartended events we did at the hotel). Couldn’t wait to bring our kids and my mom today to share this place of memories with them. Unfortunately, we quickly realized this is not the same place anymore. The owner was outside unloading plants from her car when we arrived. Instead of greeting us, she yelled at my husband to park in a different spot. We went in only to be ignored by the staff in an empty restaurant. After waiting more than 10 minutes and reading the menu, we left. The menu is extremely over priced. The service was non existent. The owner was rude. We luckily drove to our favorite area town of Bemus Point. Had a wonderful lakeside meal serviced by very friendly staff- recommend you skip this pizza joint and do the same! Many great options in Bemus. Sad to not be able to write a good review, but we will never return!

Neapolitan Pizza means Veggie

We got pizza for the movers the day we moved in just down the road. The Neapolitan pizza is now a major favorite. It is loaded with veggies and no meat. Since I can't digest pork fat this is kinda important to me. Love having great pizza so close.

We are never disappointed!! This time, we had the Supreme pizza and wings. Absolutely the BEST we've ever had!! You don't find many places that have just the right amount of everything, and the crust has the flavor that you actually want to eat it to!!

Looking for good Italian food, this is it!

This restaurant was highly recommended by a number of people and it was really a wonderful spot. Our waitress was great and the food was delicious. Our two dishes were just perfect and the portions were ample. My wife ended up taking hers back to our rental and we enjoyed it for lunch the next day! Very good authentic Italian quisine at a very reasonable price.

Second time recently and another great visit!

We had a real nice experience on our first trip here and we decided to have another go. It was a great evening and we sat outside and had a really nice time and some really good food. The entire experience went well, from the greeting to a 'thank you' at the end, it was very enjoyable. I had a dinner special and my wife had a sandwich and both were quite good. Even though we live in Erie, we'll plan to come out here whenever we're in this area, which is fairly frequent.

Genuinely World-Class Italian (and fun too)

This place isn't good -- it's GREAT!!! If you don't order the Stuffed Bread, you have a stuffed head. Just do it. The pasta was superb. The shrimp were delicious. The drinks were absolutely top flight. The service was superb. The wait was short. There's outside dining and live music. What are you waiting for???
